I'd like to make a sincere "thank you" to everyone who has downloaded, endorsed, or given feedback on my first mod. This is the sort of thing that makes me truly appreciate the modding community. Again, THANK YOU!
Seriously dude, good job :) It would never have occured to me that this would be a good thing to add, but it really tweaks up the ambience of Taffington being a BOATHOUSE that's sitting on a RIVER. Love it! It's tiny little mods like this that really add to the game.
As a buoy enthusiast myself I can really appreciate this! In fact, I think you should start an overhaul of sorts that adds buoys to more bodies of water around the Commonwealth, considering Boston was and may very well still be a major harbor!
Think of it, every hundred feet or so along the rivers and lakes, a glistening, shining, dinging buoy! It's like a dream...
PLOT TWIST: (Useful Buoy Ideas) - The buoy is actually an alien research probe masquerading as a bay buoy! - Attracts horkers and mirelurks - Explodes massively on contact! Like a Chinese secret superweapon! - Tiny player home inside the buoy, provided the buoy is scaled up a little bit
- the 1st is quite hard to be done by a newcomer in modding, but the idea is nice - the 2nd is kind of the same idea as what we talked already in comments here (just go below you'll see) - the 3rd maybe to much, because the mod would then be pointless since there's only one Buoy, and if he explodes, there's nothing left =/ - the 4th well, a buoy is really tiny basically, so if you want that, either it's a teleporter (or a signal, like said in the comments below again) or you'll need a really big buoy to make at least a little room (it doesn't really require a big one, but it wouldn't be immersive if it was small =/)
so you have good ideas, but it needs more details and more thinking before really be able to use it, and like said, he is a newcomer in modding, so it's already a lot that he made a nice buoy
