Why? It's not like "Mauser" pistol didn't exist in the Fallout universe. In the Fallout 1 and Fallout 2 there was a Mauser pistol (it wasn't really good, but it was there).
It was called "Chinese Pistol" in only a single game. Fallout 3.
Because it's not actually a Mauser, hence the weird magazine. It's the historical Shanxi Type-17, which used .45 acp. It was made and designed by Yen Hsi-shan, who was having trouble with supplying his troops with 7.63mm ammunition, and, since he already had locally made Thompsons, .45 was a natural choice. Wound up being used from the Boxer Rebellions all the way to the Chinese Civil War.
It'd be awesome if you could edit the strings in this to change "Chinese pistol" to "Shanxi Type 17," for those of us using the Immersive Weapon Names mod. c: Thank you so much for this all the same!

I'm using the English version and all vendors show me are "Mauser" not "Chinese"

Not every mod must be suitable for everyone. There is another building block for a personalized FO4!
To be honest, I was curious about FO4 modding and I picked something simply for boarding!
