Hi, Thanks great mod. I've been trying to get this to work with bionicyardiff's Chameleon and Power Armor Stealth Field Fixes, because aiming with an invisible gun kinda sucks, but I don't really know what I'm doing so all I managed to achieve was having the AP drain without the invisibility staying onon while moving and the effects of bionicyardiff's mod not working at all..
I've only tried to "copy as override into" the records in xedit which looked all green, but again I don't know what I'm doing. :D Would it even be possible to merge the effects?
yes it will. When I started to create the mod, I had the vanilla chameleon effect and created an 'advanced' chameleon which allows to move w/ the AP draw. While you would be getting 40% bonus to stealth (if you're wearing one of each), the actual gameplay effect of wearing multiples wasn't effected. This lead to me just altering the vanilla effect.
No spoilers, but I have many ideas already for Apparel and Suits... trust me :) ...and SF's implementation of Chameleon is one of them. Waiting for the CK
Good stuff man! I was wondering as well if you can like create a patch to deactivate the visual part of the chameleon armor(without affecting the stealth rating) while in ADS? Or if you can, create a dot crosshair mod while sneaking and ADSing? The mod really reminds me of Ghost Recon and I can't continue the game without this mod HAHA
Just wanted to say that I love it! This is a great middle ground for Chinese Stealth Armor fans while feeling more strategic, since it makes you plan out your movement in order to remain cloaked. Thank you for your work :D
Is this supposed to drain AP with option C on power armor with a stealth boy mod? If not, I can't get it to work on my PA. If so, then is working as intended.
Assuming you're using a mod that allows for legendary properties to be applied to power armor pieces, it shouldn't. Do you have vanilla game/workbench stealthboy torso mod?
I am using the mod stealth boy torso item for power armor. It stays cloaked like it should, but still drains AP I haven't put a stealth legendary on the Power armor however.
I didn't alter how the the PA torso mod work, so that would be working as normal for the game. If you remove that and can attach a legendary chameleon to something on the suit, see if that resolves it.
when I get time, I'll alter Option C to remove AP drain, but keep the core drain.
I took at look at LEO, I don't see that it's altering the chameleon effect that my mod is altering. From waht it looks like, LEO is jsut adding more legendary mod option and making it more comprehensive. Would you be able to give me your mod list and give details in stating "it doesn't work".
So as i understand it, option C should be on whenever in a crouch; weapons drawn or holstered, yes? Mine comes on for about 2 seconds that shuts down. I can't for the life of me figure on what's doing it. Other stealth mods like the stealth lifesight goggles do the same thing, but i can't figure out why. Any ideas?
I wanted to do that very early on, to make it like Proj Mohave, but I don't know Paryrus enough to figure it out. The AP draw was my inital alternative and I was happy with the results to stick with it.
