This is a nice mod. I love it. Now for some constructive criticism (no judgment, just thoughts on how this might be improved). There are 2 problems with it. One is very bad but can be easily resolved.
#1 - Hubris Comics does reset and ghouls do respawn. Maybe they didn't before but they do now. Why not just place the chest on the first floor right near the door, etc.? I mean...why the top floor, right? #2 - If you use the console to spawn a chest with the player.placeatme command that chest(s) cannot be scrapped. They will remain forever. I spawned 10 of them and after many weeks/months of in-game time they still have not gone away. I'm sure a simple fast tweak could resolve this? Also/and/or why not just have a chest that spawns with 30 of each in it and once emptied will respawn another 30 of each after 24 hours, or something? Wouldn't that just simplify things and makes it more user friendly?
Until then be very careful how you use this. Not a big deal if you only spawn one chest, but if you want to have magazine racks at all your stores you might wind up with dozens of trunks all over the place. So you have to go to each chest and CAREFULLY use the markfordelete command.
Thank you! I love decorating my settlements to admittedly insane levels, and these are just what I've been looking for. I want to use mags for decorating, and I know I could get all the mags with cheats, but I want to find them. OCDecorator, which I love, doesn't work with my current mod load, so it's not an option, and it's items have placement limitations. Your reprints, however, can be put in racks, set on tables, or pretty much anywhere I have a want to put them.
In short, you Sir/Madam F-ing Rock.
I do have a question, after emptying the trunk, will they respawn? I want to know if I can go back for more, or if I should just console spawn when I run out. Hell, I wouldn't mind them being added to the random loot list for containers/enemies. I may even attempt to do it myself, if you don't beat me to it. Most likely outcome? I break my game, while transmogrifying my pc into a potato. If successful(or indulged), I will begin to build my knockoff comic empire across all corners of the Commonwealth, but they have to show up in the wild for it to work. If unsuccessful? Well, I still get to have all the awesome to decorate with, without having to use my own(rightfully earned) mags to decorate a settlers bathroom.

As for the spawned chests, use console commands and disable them, or markfordelete, that fixes the problem.
It would be ideal if the chest was located at Hubris Comics.

I do hope you make them able to be crafted though.
