Hey, just wanted you to know that the istitute weapons are not shock weapons, they are laser weapons using a more powerfull laser, which is why it is blue. Red lasers are the weakest kind, so the institute laser should have a bit more damage, but perharps less ammo capazity

Actually, the definition of shock is an impact or tremor which is half of the name for this weapon. The other half comes from the German word for Shock Trooper or Assault Trooper. When I increased the damage of the weapon to exceed the Laser Rifle, I put the name Shock Rifle as a name of meaning "greater impact". Shock Troopers in WW1 weren't soldiers who went around shooting electricity at the enemy. They were soldiers who penetrated the enemies defenses and caused impact with their assaults. How expensive or technical a laser weapon would be depends on the color. A red laser takes less complexity to make and is considered lower tech as to where a blue laser requires a certain diode and more crystals in order to function. A color of a laser can determine what it can penetrate as well but a laser weapon would most likely be a combination of multiple lasers to form a single beam. Not sure as to what color it would come out as since they would be at different frequencies.

It actually requires Automaton AND Far Harbor. Neither of which I have. Inconvienient, but surely a quick fix. I'll make a couple dummy esm's and remove the masters. I'll report back it if works or destroys all life.

This is pretty good, does mostly what other similar mods do, other than the naming thing, I rename all my guns anyway so I don't really care either way personally. Do have a few suggestions for tweaks you might be inclined to look over for the balance though.

Alien Blaster - Fusion cell conversion should severely drop the damage (if not return it to vanilla damage) making the APC's more or less a limited "power up" for the gun.

Deliverer - Damage buff seems a bit...high to me, I don't personally use it very much but its still a very fast weapon on a very common ammo with a absurdly low AP cost, doesn't seem like it should be doing such high damage.

Gatling Laser - I use this weapon quite a bit, one of my favorites, that said, the charging barrels need a nerfing, probably a little damage and a little fire rate.

Good work so far, its nice to see one of these actually have DLC support.

Thanks. Alien Blaster and Deliverer I'm not at yet. It takes a lot of time to do this all. The Charging Barrel I can see how it does on 200% Damage instead.

      Edit: Ok. Trying 150% instead.

Edit2: Settled on 175% Damage since that seems to be a sweet spot. Tested all of this on a level 50 Milelurk Queen on VeryHard being level 50 with Rank5 Heavy Guns and maxed out weapon mods on Gatling Laser.

If you want to make the pipe weapons realistic at all they would have 2 problems in real life

1: They would jam allot due to being hand made with often sub standard materials.
2: They would be terribly inaccurate due to not having rifling inside the barrels (something you need specialized tools to do)

Weapon jamming isn't in Fallout 4 so I can't do that and if I make them highly inaccurate then every single enemy with a pipe weapon, which is a lot of them, would be missing 80% of their shots. Good idea though. I could decrease accuracy by a little bit for realism.

Sure you can Doom, just model it yourself buddy. Don't go down the "lazy route" as you so nicely put it on my mod. You'll figure it out

Well for one, It's not going to happen. That's pretty much it. I put hard work into my mods as is. Two, I don't want to spend too much time with making alternate files when I could move on to my second mod.

Can you make a version that works without the DLC ? I just realized it didn't work because of that.

Yes I can in a bit but only of the main file. It will take too much time to do the others. I'm currently working on the main file and once that is done, I can make a version without DLC. It will be v1.3

      Non-DLC version is out now.

Eh, A bat is not a club. Why put military in front of ripper. A laser musket is a custom weapon, might as well give pipe weapons model numbers while your at it. The combat shotgun and rifle look NOTHING like a neostead or BAR. I do like the models for the guns based on previous fallout lore however. Unfortunately the laser rifles and pistol are a tricky situation, I actually dont like that they both use the same ammo and are the same base weapon, I thought it was nifty at first but now it is a limitation imo, same with the plasma rifle/pistol.

Yeah a long bat isn't a club. I was thinking of a short bat but those aren't in game.
Pipe weapons will be called Zip Pipe Pistol/Rifle/Revolver/Bolt.
Combat shotgun is a pain to figure out as its all over the place.
Combat Rifle is based off the bipod B.A.R. and PPSH
The Laser/Plasma weapons are all messed up lore wise now. Nothing I can do there except roll with it.
The military ripper is the actual name of this model of ripper.
Laser Musket is an AER-9 with other custom parts but I don't want to make the name too complicated if I can help it. I could call it Minutemen Laser Musket but that wouldn't have as much a zing to it.

It takes a bit to get these names done as a lot of research goes into it. The bat and combat shotgun are placeholders for now to see how they do. I'm still looking for names to name them with. In the next version, almost every weapon will have some kind of new name whether it would be "Kitchen Rolling Pin" or "Nuclear Gamma Gun" or "Pneumatic Power Fist".

You could call the baseball bat a "swatter" like Moe Cronin does in diamond city.

dude, you cant name the missile launcher the piat-7. the piat is of british design, and used a spring launch system. the lore friendly american army only used american designs.

i did some research of my own, and before the LAW, there was the M20 Superbazooka. you can stick to the lore, where the fallout timeline wasnt as advanced as we were back in the day, and call it like the M21 bazooka.

The Missile Launcher from Fallout 4 is heavily based off of the PIAT and the RPG-7 so I put them together and called it the PIAT-7.

The Gauss Rifle the Army used was created by Germans. I throw my ballot in to support the PIAT-7 name.

While I indeed enjoy your mod, I find that calling a baseball bat a "club" just doesn't fit with your naming system in my opinion. I don't wish to be disrespectful, but it seems uninspired, as if you felt obligated to rename it. The naming only gets worse for the 2076 variant, it would be like calling a supersledge a "power hammer" though i will give you praise for .44 revolver pistol as an attempt to fix fo4's erroneous mislabeling of the revolver.

Actually both of them were completely classic Fallout inspired. Every weapon I made was inspired to do so. BoS Super Sledge comes from the old lore of the super sledge being a modified version from the Brotherhood. The club is an old Fallout weapon that had spikes on it. Showing how the baseball bat was modified in many ways as such, I thought the club would fit it for now.
