For Bodyslide files open Bodyslide then click the Outfit Studio button. Now select File and New Project. Click Next and then tick the From File checkbox in the Outfit/Mesh section and then the Browse button. Browse to \meshes\DLC03\Armor\CombatUnderArmor\ and select FOutfit.nif for the female or Moutfit.nif for the male(not all sliders will play nice with a male body shape but you can do it). Click the Open button then the Finish button. Next select the Slider menu and Conform All. Move a slider to see if the shape changes, if it does you can go ahead and save the project(without reference shape) and use Bodyslide or you can go ahead and adjust it with the sliders in Outfit Studio and export nif. There you now have the Bodyslide files or the adjusted .nif. Enjoy. No I will not be making the Bodyslide files because I wont ever use them, if you want them you have the tools to make them yourself. Thanks.
*Edit, Be sure to close and restart Bodyslide for the new outfit you just made to show up. You can also do this for any outfit mod or not. male or female. CBBE or whatever. All you would need to know is how to browse your files to find the right .nif.
If any ladies out there wants a better man butt for the male model just post a link to an image of a nice man butt (with NSFW tags if nude, but I prefer clothed because that will help me shape the cloth). Preferably have the image 45 degrees or so off center so I can see the profile to get the shape right. That will also help me when making other male outfits.
Also keep it to one comment if someone else posts a link, just reply to them so the whole comment section isn't a series of links to man butts. If yall do the opposite then I will respond with a link to a lady butt for ya! Or worse... give the male model a lady butt. I would use my butt for the model example but it isn't a nice butt so maybe that instead.
Example: I'm using the vanilla male model. While wearing the BOS uniform, all armor fits snugly on the body and looks proper. When equipping the wetsuit, all the armor pieces look like they swell a bit. I'd be very keen on your alteration if it fixed that.
AEX is Armorsmith Extended. I'd originally suspected it because it removed a number of the vanilla bipedal flags. Turns out, that wasn't the cause. I suspect something to do with the mesh.
To see the "bulking" we're talking about, equip a medium combat armor torso and look how far the plate sits off the body. It's very noticeable in the crotch.
May be more noticeable on male characters. Haven't tried on a female yet.
just turn off the underamor scaling flag on the Armor Addon entry for the wetsuit ORRRRR copy the bones from from the BOS uniform or the vault suit or the raider harness and paste them over the wetsuit's bones.
Probably a very dumb question (I've played far harbor for less than 2 hours though so I don't know the answer) but what is the mask you are using in the images? I noticed that the marine wetsuit didn't come with that mask and because of that I thought the marine tactical helmet was the mask but I found out the hard way that it wasn't, 10k caps down the drain.
That is the Marine Tactical Helmet in the screenshots - there's also another marine helmet which is a combined combat helmet and gas mask. When you find the wetsuit in the story, the tac helmet will be in the same container.
Is there any chance that you could make a version of this with the wetsuit and the Marine Tactical Helmet are merged into one armor (i.e. when you put on the wetsuit, the Tactical Helmet also appears on your model even if all the head slots are left unfilled). I really want to use the Marine Armor, but it annoys the hell out of me that when you use the helmet from that set, it leaves the back of your character's head and neck uncovered.
Less than a half hour for both models isn't allot of work. I moved some verts with soft selection enabled to better fit the base body shapes. I also do not believe in adding files a user can make themselves in 1/4 the time it would take me to get it ready for upload and all they have to do is click some buttons and file browse. If you want Bodyslide files you have the tools to make them.
For Bodyslide files open Bodyslide then click the Outfit Studio button. Now select File and New Project. Caliente updated her page with Bodyslide compatability for Far Harbor. She did it the night of the release I believe. Anyways, thank you for making the Wetsuit not look stupid, Jet.
I have her update, had it before I had the DLC lol. The models she included are vanilla and I have no doubts made how I explained with her own steps she does. This file is shaped around the default CBBE body that Bodyslide uses with minor clipping here and there but was ignored to get the closest shape without distorting the model. So if you make a Bodyslide of mine and use the curvy preset you will get a far better result out of the box.
So informing me that Caliente has already included a Bodyslide file is a waste of your time and a waste of mine. Actually informing any mod author that someone else did such and such is both rude and not needed. Often that can make them feel that their hard work wasn't worth the effort because "entitled, whinging, disrespectful lil jerks" just feel the need to tell them their hard work was a waste of time. They may not be aware of the first mod, or they are and just don't care and wanted to do it themselves in their own way. So please stop telling mod authors someone else already did it. That makes you look like trash not worth pissing on if you were on fire.
Just tested and manual download works just ducky. May have been one of the servers not actually having the whole file and that's the one you got in the server roulette.
Tested it out with bodyslide and the difference is noticeable. I was waiting for someone to upload something to fix the wetsuit, it felt off. Many thanks.

The original one is so dusty...

Regardless, thanks. this is a noticeable improvement.
