Console port request : I'm sorry but I decided to remove all my remaining mods from Bethesda.net since they deleted some for having them tag for console like 4-5 H before the official console mod release. I'm sorry for console player, but I won't put anything back or new on Bethesda.net, you can thanks Bethesda.net site administrators for this. I'm not against console player, I'm against Bethesda.net, If there is a way to make my mods available on console without using Bethesda.net, let me know and I'll be more than happy to do it. Due to some recent pm I received, I thought that maybe the message wasn't clear enough so I'll never upload any of my mods to Bethesda.net, and will NEVER allow them to be uploaded publicly by a 3rd party, so save your time and mine and don't bother to ask, I'll ignore those requests.
Great mod, but with a new playthrough, I had a problem at Oberland Station that has not occurred elsewhere: Open workshop, select workshop marker, but nothing happens. Even if I move around to different spots. Is there some kind of reset on this cell required?
Thanks a lot for this. Worked perfectly under .163. Had to move the workbench twice in succession as it was still clipping with itself. (only needed to move it a few feet) Placed it about two tiles away then back into position. Everything seems fine and dandy.
Does this mod for whatever reason influence/disturb the workshop radius in relation to vendor stations?
Having an issue I've never had before where settlers have no vendor dialogue due to the station being too far away from workbench. Kind of weird as I only moved the workbench maybe 2 feet.
Never had this issue before but for all I know it could be just vanilla bug and nothing more. Worse case, this mod compounds that behaviour.
Enter the workshop Place the marker where you want your workbench Exit the workshop The Workshop Workbench will be moved to the position of the marker, and the marker will be removed.
Yeah I place the Marker and exit, both are still there, I walk up to the newly placed marker and it says 'Activate'. but nothing happens? Save, leave to other side of map wait 48 hours, go back, both still there?
Hey Akarnan! Thanks for this mod. I've tried a few others that move the workbench, but none work so well as this one. Not only does it work every time, it's very easy to use, with no need to remember a series of keystrokes etc. Nice work!
Does this mod only intend the workbench to move within the standard vanilla borders assigned to it, or can you literally put your workbench anywhere in the Commonwealth? If the latter, does the vanilla border come along with it? What happens to the settlement it was formerly attached to, and the settlers?
as tallulahkat guessed the marker can't be built outside of settlement borders. The border and the workbench aren't "linked" in the way you might think they are, you can move your workbench anywhere within the border without affecting them.
Hi love this mod, just have one problem. I moved the workbench and used Transfer Settlement to use it in a future play-through, which I have started some days ago. In Tenpines Bluff, I used Transfer Settlement after the Corvega Quest and everthingy worked fine..... just the workbench was, of course, in the original position. So I used the marker to move it, but it didn't work and the marker doesn't show up anymore. Anyone any idea how to solve this?
Great mod. It works for me. Moved the nuka world bench multiple times. I suspect some people just move it to far, even out of the build zone. They don't seem to understand the importance of the workbench or some such. Rub 2 brain cells together, apply 2 licks of common sense and you will be fine.
I've been using this mod off and on for a few years, recently it stopped working correctly and I could not work out why, then I remembered that I had revalidated the steam files for Fo4 so I checked the ini settings and discovered that the changes I had made to make mods work where gone. I then did some experimenting and discovered that new or recently updated mods work ok but some older mods still need the ini changes. So those of you that are having problems with this mod might try resetting your ini settings.
Among the 2 video's + archiveInvallidation guide on the Nexus and the 3 recommended on the FO4forum at Steam, i don't know any that lists all. My list below is a compilation of these listings.
- Add the following lines to Fallout4Prefs.ini [Launcher]: bEnableFileSelection=1
- Add the following lines to your Fallout4Custom.ini [Archive] bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 sResourceDataDirsFinal= Note, "sResourceDataDirsFinal= " needs to have a blank space at the end for "no or undefined vallue"
- add fPlayerDisableSprintingLoadingCellDistance=0 to your Fallout4Custom.ini under the [Gameplay] heading (if the heading or the file doesn't exist, create it).
- In Fallout4.ini at [Archive], change from sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\ the vallue STRINGS\ (and any load-order that might follow) in this header into a blank space so it is in par with the same command in Fallout4Custom.ini Note, "sResourceDataDirsFinal= " needs to have a blank space at the end for "no or undefined vallue"
Use only for item scrapping and perhaps a few other specific settlement building tasks: - Add (if not there yet) bUseCombinedObjects=0 to your fallout4.ini under [general] for best results scrapping items outside the original borders or (if it was there before) change the vallue from =1 to bUseCombinedObjects=0

Move an old settlement to anywhere on the map mod
If the shoe fits, wear it.
