I just uploaded a new version that doesn't use a .ba2 file. Hopefully this will solve the problem of the scripts. What should happen is you will activate the broken down van and it will give you a message that will include what materials you need to put in the repair toolbox. Once you have those in the toolbox and activate the van to repair again it should fade to black and come back with a repaired van and the message that you need gas to go. The reason I choose flamer fuel is because this is a jury rigged version, not a true factory built van. Please download the new version and let me know if the bug persists. I did bug shooting a lot on my end before uploading so I believe that the bug is not actually in my scripts but located somewhere in the upload/download process. As always, keep me updated with bugs and I will iron them out as soon as I can.
As for the discussion about the fuel, it's not a request. Still, when you're done ironing out bugs AND you have cleared your to do list (emphasis on the "and" as I think it's important you stick to it before you think about adding more complex features. So even the motorcycle would come first if you decide to do it) will you consider upgrades for the vehicles
Upgrades for the vehicle is already planned, but I need someone to create meshes. The plan is to have the SS create modifications that go onto the sides of van and, when opened up and laid out, contain all the workbenches you need. Similar to the Gypsy Eye Caravan mod from Skyrim. Problem is, I can not make meshes, so I need someone else to design them for me to throw onto the side of van.
For all those asking for an interior cell and a different paint option: I can not currently make new meshes or textures as I do not have the knowledge. If you are willing to make these meshes and textures for me I will be more than happy to implement them into the game for you.
Quaz30 made the mod Acadia Van Player Home. It features a rusty version of the van and - most important - an interior cell. Maybe you could speak to him about it.
Found out about this mod just now.Pretty much coincidental.I was playing around with an old script for a movable ship mod for skyrim I never released.I was actually getting my inspiration from FWE motorcycle.
You might wanna think twice before throwing accusations like that around.
EDIT:I found out about this mod from your comment apparently. You couldn't bother waiting for an answer?
Although I agree what I did was not the best way to do, and it was downright rude, so if anything I apologize. Still I wanted the two separate answers before the drama starts. Hence the almost simultaneous questions. Proof is I didn't report your mod. What better way than the mod author to see if his work was stolen.
Thanks for looking into it, I'm glad this has been cleared. My intentions were good, indeed but I recognize I should have handled things better... Now I already apologized for the way I did things but still, sorry again about doubting you, PCDdug.
Good job deciphering the script without the source code lol It's a little script I learned to play around with skyrim.Easy to expand but long as hell.Disabling every possible car instance every time you travel before re-enabling the destination one.I tried linking them all to an enable-parent but that just screw stuff up.
Is there a way to tell the game, that the following loading screen will be a long one, when cruising with the van? At least my loading screens are all black.
Sadly there is not that I know of. I think because it's not a normal transition, but is instead an exterior to exterior transition, it tricks the game into thinking it'll be a short load.
Seeing as you noted a potential desire to create a motorcycle variant, might I suggest speaking to the creator of Lone Wanderer Motorcycle (http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/2275/?)? I think it would be a perfect fit, and the asset already exists in game. The beat up base model could provide the broken down version, while his nice and new looking model could replace it as the repaired variant.\
Would really make my day if this could become a reality, but even if not, thanks for this mod. I loved the Mobile Truck Base from FNV, and this is exactly what I need for my playthroughs.
+1 Is there a note/holo or a quest or did we miss something? ALl I can do is activate the broken car - nothing happens. And in the back there's the red repair container.
But what should I put into this box? Steel, copper, nuclear material, Piper ?

The similarity looks sketchy I'll give you that.
PCDug: Good job on the scripting and keep up the good work. If you run into any issues feel free to shoot me a message if you want my scripting help.
Azraal: Thank you for showing this to me, I believe you just wanted to verify that it was a not a copy and had good intentions at heart.

And thanks for your work, both of you.
