Hello all. Just a few extra bits of information, exclusive for those of you who read comments first.
RAGE BOMB:
Arch-E has three stages before he becomes TRIGGERED. These are unlocked by random combat Idles. However, with the next update* I plan to allow you to unlock this via his options menu.
Note: B0-B will only engage in combat if Arch-E is.
Waiting/Talking/Carrying your shopping
Currently Arch-E will perform basic follower stuff (B0-B will carry stuff also). However, with the next update will allow you to command him too. I did get this working before release, but there was a couple of things I wanted to iron out first.
UPDATE?
Yes, there is an update coming soon that will add more dialogue and various options as mentioned above.
Also Elianora has promised to retexture for me
Bugs/feedback
It's impossible for me to test this independently from beyond my own data folder, so please let me know of any bugs you may encounter in the bugs section.
Hey folks, Arch-E & B0-B Automatron version has been added.
IMPORTANT NOTES: Version 2 a new Esp and therefore essentially a new mod! In other words it will reset both arch and Bob and place them back in cave.
If they are carrying your stuff, please remove your gear and use the "Uninstall" function in Arch-E's settings (in dialogue). After that, move to a new location, save and exit and uninstall/Install etc. Load game, Head back to the original place you found them (redrocket01) and re-enlist.
Update Changes/Fixes
-Automatron Compatible! (Yay) -Fixed B0-B moving around when player in conversion -Broken dialogue that caused Arch-E to not speak after 1st phase of rage bomb. -Broken response dialogue.
Arch-E & B0-B have been upgraded to version 1.2 (Hey, what happened to 1.1?)
New features:
COMMAND MODE
You can now safely command them just like vanilla companions. This can be activated by talking to them and deactivated by talking to them a second time.
SETTINGS
A special menu is now unlocked. Here you can Trigger Arch-E (once unlocked in combat) and even RESET them if you wish to Uninstall for any reason (it resets all globals to 0)
MORE DIALOGUE
Dialogue now stands at 525! (although some of that is player)
BUG FIXES
Hopefully have solved the issue whereby settlers attack poor old B0-B.
STILL TO COME
-I will add a function whereby you can send them to a chosen settlement. -I will tidy the menus a little more.... -I may write some more.
This is super fun, it would be very dope having these two dudes follow be about. My only suggestion is that arch's voice is very raspy and harsh on the ears. Must be a way to lighten it up a little, but other than that I would totally see myself playing this in a playthrough
These guys look incredibly interesting and I can't wait to try this For some reason when they talk in the video they remind me of Pinky and the Brain - What are we going to do tonight Brain? - The same thing we do every night Pinky, Try to take over the world. I certainly hope you expand on them and decide to add a quest, As usual Bethesda followers leave so much to be desired.
I have an idea as to how to make B0-b modifiable. What you do is add a unique torso and legs, like an eyebot body and eyebot thruster, so that you can mod B0-b to be whatever you want. In my case, I want to make him a sentry bot. Just a thought, and it might be impossible. Great mod, lots of fun, no amount of stick shaking can surpass it.
