I'm using (well, HAVE been using) Hardcore Deadly Fog and I'm getting progressively higher permanent "buffs" to my character's Perception and Intelligence. Even when I unequip everything and with no other active effects. I currently have 20 Perception and 21 Intelligence, with a plus symbol indicating a buff. Using player.getvalueinfo returns a value of 9.17 for temporary effects (for Perception).

This mod is obviously the cause, because of the attributes affected, the issue worsening as I explore the island, and it started only after I began the expansion. Removing the mod doesn't help. Any way to fix this? I'd rather avoid using the player.modav command....

Late Edit: Never found a proper fix, had to resort to using player.modav. To all future readers, do NOT use the Hardcore version!

Could you add debuff for all options? It sounds like a reasonable idea, but I don't want 20Rad/s, it's way too much. Also anything above 25 is a nonsense imho. You will be dead in minutes.

There's a craftable fog condenser mod if you need it. It truly is a godsend to be able to filter areas from radiation.

Will this pierce my natural resistance to rads? i have a deathclaw race installed, and my natural rad resistance is one thousand.

Is there a way to add this fog to the commonwealth? I have a mod to disable radiation in an area buuut I need radiation to be everywhere. Also, aesthetics.

I like the mod, but I just got here and found that the default of 15 is fine and flavorful.....except now Longfellow and many other characters are periodically dropping due to increased rads. Which can now cause issues where there were none before.

For example, I had to wait for Longfellow twice in the opening when you have no control over his character. I can add ballistic weave to his coat, but it doesn't have any natural rad protection. Now you could perhaps add another mod to solve this problem, or play around it. I brought power armor, Strong, and Ada, and Nick. But for the initial foray around the island you want Longfellow.

I suppose a simple fix is to add rad resistance to Longfellow's coat. However, I have no idea if this subtle problem is seen elsewhere. Such as Harbormen being unaware of the extra deadly fog. Settlers like to roam around and that could make things problematic. They are essentially immortal, but it could muck up scripted events.

Man the fog was SUCH A DISSAPOINTMENT

I wish you could add some more effects to it like the Cloud from Deadmoney

make the player take a small amount of damage over time maybe even add an addiction chance of some sort.

Thanks so much for this mod!

Thank you for this, it was just what I was looking for when I got Far Harbor, I got to town and quickly saw that everyone treats the fog as a unique and forbidding, apocalyptic threat more so then anything in the literal post-apocalyptic commonwealth. But when I followed Long Fellow and got to Arcadia, the worst we saw was small Gulpers, the "Fog" itself seemed a bad joke. And while this fills that hole and make the Fog more deserving of it's infamy, it doesn't reflect how it's described in game, just a super Glowing Sea. Long Fellow mentions "how fools think you just need Radaway, they became part of the hell" or something like that. The Fog still lack uniqueness and is not true to what everyone says, including how you mentioned it should be maddening. I suggest/request maybe some debuffs like that from Survival, your SPECIAL stats dwindling slowly as you stay in for too long especially intelligence and perception from "losing your mind". Or maybe ambitiously, hallucinations, like getting detected by and picking up enemies on your compass that are not there (invisible model-less, harmless and/or dying hostiles of some sort?) or your Companions also hallucinating, reacting to things that aren't there, like reacting to the USS constitution when you are in the fog.

How does any of that sound and again no offense and thank you for what this mod does do as it is.
P.S. I adjacently made a forum post of this and not regular comment, and can't seem delete it.

Lol speak of the devil, I should have looked at the options before I posted, with the "hardcore" verson being exactly what I descrived. but still would really like the idea of Hallucinations and more random, creepy and scary effects, maybe a full on horror variation as I kind of expected from Far Harbor and the Fog as it has Wolves instead of dogs, a much darker, and 'seemingly but not really menacing feel, ect.

Just make sure to disable the True Storms FarHarbor Extra Rads esp file before installing this mod. Both do the same thing, but ProgmanX's mod does more.

as someone who alwase joins the Children of Atom (even with 1 endurance) this is one of my essential mods. Just wish hardcore was more...hardcore, like -4 stats or something. Still: 8.5
