What exactly is the difference between [Never Respawn] and [Never Respawn Cleared]? For example, Forest Grove Marsh is not a dungeon (no loading to get to it) but it can become cleared, how does each mod affects its respawn?
For those who are thinking about installing this mod. I used it a few years ago and I remember that some random encounter areas stopped working. I think it's an effect of this mod. I came to see if I could find other reports, but I didn't find anything very precise. Just be aware that it's a risk. If someone who uses it can confirm to me that this wasn't caused by this mod I would love to reinstall it. Together with the pile of bodies the game really becomes more interesting. At least until you pass by with a companion and he completely ignores the dozens of corpses scattered around.
I think I found a solution for those who want complete loot and enemy respawn immersion, like me. Activate this mod then you need some console commands in game:
It must completely turn off respawning loot and enemies instead of randomly meeting enemies, traders and maybe also loot boxes in the open wolrd space (but Im not sure)
I don't know exactly what you've tested, but setgs iHoursToRespawnCell 8760000 setgs iHoursToRespawnCellCleared 8760000 that's exactly what the optional mod "Never Respawn Cleared" does
There is a difference between locations which can be called fully cleared and other unmarked or minor locations (bar in Concord). So if you want to stop respawning all, you need to write additional command

I don't understand how to change the settings, it appears it's installed successfully via NMM. In the game console when I type GetGS iHoursToRespawnCell and iHoursToRespawnCell I get the defaults but when I type iHoursToRespawnCellCleared >> 8760000, iHoursToRespawnCell >> 8760000, or vereyations for both: iHoursToRespawnCellCleared 8760000, iHoursToRespawnCellCleared 8760000 I get script command not found. I have Game of the Year edition v1.10.984 & ALL DLC
the mod works great this adds some realism to this game but the more realism added and the more fantasy removed the better the game play i am using the never respawn
This worked quite well, some users migth want to try GCM instead. Both mods struggle with some scripted locations (I think they are scripted at least since changing the cell refresh rate does nothing to prevent item respawn: Thicket Excavations & Bedford Station respawn every time I go away and come back).
