Side Effects: - Wearing any Assaultron Helmet will give you the same effects. *I will fix this when I learn more about bounding the item to the effect, I hope.
Hey could you post a tut on coloring it? I love this helmet just wish it was a tad lighter on the green side of things (like the army skins; olive-esk) I would take it upon myself to upload an array of colors too if you gave me the know-how and the a-ok
I love this mod, been using it for awhile now! That being said, some color options would be great, and maybe editting the mesh partially to have a flashlight attached to it? It could go on one side of the helmet, and maybe a targeting HUD option could go on the other side? Otherwise this is great!
I made this using the Recon because I hate the Targeting effect, its constant. I will be working on different designs with small color changes when I can and the flash light is a pain, I've tried many times, it shines behind you.
Im working on my Goggles and when its done I will make its effects etc on this Helmet also. :-)
I was thinking something more akin to the Shadowed armor pieces--it isn't all black, but it shouldn't be all that difficult either. Honestly instead of doing color schemes right now, you could just make the different armor options we already have available actually change color to match what it would look like if it was a combat armor helmet instead. (Like, just copy+paste that color/tone over for each one)
It doesnt work that way, its not magic or copy paste, it if was I would have done it because I love this. -.- I can make Minecraft Texture packs, like I have done, but this is different so sadly its a bit out of my league. All I think I can do now is darken the single image of the Helmet and hope for the best. :-)
You'd probably know better, I know it works like that for Minecraft and some other games which is why I suggested it, although Fallout4 modding my be different because of all the other stuff involved (Like NIFscope?), so I wouldn't know either way.
Regardless, it isn't really a priority or anything, the color it is now still works perfectly fine and working on your other mod is probably better.
Sweet! Glad to hear it, and thanks for working so hard on the mod, I didn't notice it before though, but when I drop the helmet, it shows up with the 'no texture' pink color, which is rather strange.
This is awesome! Great work. Pitty about the no console though (understandable and reasons respected) Shall bookmark this in the meanwhile until i get a PC that runs F04 Kudos!
Well Im reworking my Goggles to get it just like I like it, maybe then I will look into making them the same and check into how to make a PC mod work for console. :-)
I like the idea of this mod, especially since that helmet was so cool, and you can still wear a lower mask and glasses with it. I was looking through your esp to make sure everything was working with my current load order when I noticed that you changed a lot of values for armor, ammo, and weapons to 0. I'm fairly comfortable with FO4edit, but I don't know what the purpose is of the value that you changed. This is more for curiosity's sake.
That is to not make those zero value items still highlight the corpse when looting, at least in theory. "Bottlecap value of common clothing is set to 0, excluding it from highlighting, so you don't need to leave nude corpses everywhere." So you can just loot whats valued according to your tags. It may due to my own mods but it works with me, I can leave the corpses dressed and still allow the mod to consider them 'empty'
Like the idea but does not show up when searched for under "tactical".. Oddly I have the Assaultron Helmet as craftable and the one I currently have equipped seems to have the new effects.
Got it, however lacks all the upgrade options of the Assaultron helm so went back to the previous file (You should leave it up, some people might like it!)
Dude if you could make a version that stays shut that would be awesome, been looking and no one has done that yet... and if you do, could you also make a replacement mesh for the vanilla one too so we can have both?
Right now, making or editing meshes it a bit out of my league but am already researching this for other mods I have in mind as well as my current mods I would like to make Standalone. :-)

That sounds good, though, have fun with that! I only request that you have a 'black' color scheme.
