For PS4 users, it genuinely can't be done, because the PS4 uses proprietary audio formats which they haven't given modders a way to encode (meaning if I were to upload i anyway, you literally wouldn't hear or even see the conversation with subtitles, because there would be no lip syncing).
For XBOX users, it could be done, but I really don't want the hassle of dealing with Bethesda.net. I know this sounds selfish, but last I checked, they didn't have a way for authors to even control the comments, and the spam filter they were using blocked out many legitimate, non-profane words. Plus, with no way to moderate the comments... well, let's just say that people can get a bit nasty. My most sincere apologies. Do let me know, though, if they ever improve over there - I may just reconsider.
Had an issue where right when you went investigate for looking for Shaun where once you would leave his office he would just stand there, I had Unlimited Companions Framework plus Amazing Followers Tweaks (I never realized both have issues together bc I'm dumb) so that MIGHT'VE been an issue but I'm not fully sure ngl If anyone else had this issue how'd ya'll fix it if you ever did?
Late reply but for others. I had the same issue (AFT installed), I assume you mean when you leave his office to go to Kellogs house the first time. You just walk back towards the door to his office and he unfroze/continued the quest.
Thank you so much for this mod! I love that Nick can be my lover. Just a heads up for everyone using Multiple Followers Overhaul. I was getting the looping dialogue at the end of Nick's quest with Eddie Winter. Even though I chose romance and was successful, the quest wouldn't finish and Nick would keep starting the dialogue again with "All I know if it wasn't for you, Eddie would still be at large".
I had to disable Multiple Followers Overhaul before trying to romance Nick and it worked! Seems to be a mod conflict between the two. Otherwise, thanks for the wonderful mod!
I have a mod where Dogmeat can come with me even with Nick or anyone else as my companion, do you think if I removed that mod, finished the dialogue, and put the mod back on it would work?
Hello! I love Nick and I normally wouldn't consider romancing him but I think he is perfect for my new character, Irene. They have very similar circumstances being thrown into a new world and all that so this mod is perfect for what I need! I have just one question: Will Nick refer to me in a romantic way when I prompt him? Will he say something like "yes Hun?" I think that'd be super cute ^_^
They added a few things of dialogue like 'Didn't think you'd fall for me, glad to be wrong' or something like that. I'd love if they added some cute names as well, they should definitely add that!
To be fair, nick is a gen 2.5 which means he's still very much mechanical with no... parts... curies newer body is a gen 3 synth which is just a whole normal body with a small chip in their noggins.
