You might want to add a description that states that this mod will also remove locations from the map as well as the compass. This removes discovery XP from the game (not that big of a loss) but also results in the inability to fast travel (also not that big of a loss to me) but absolutely destroys vertibird travel (totally not acceptable for me)
Do you know how I can get the map markers back? The loss of enemies forever is not that big of a deal, but losing locations on the map is a huge loss for me and even uninstalling the mod via NMM isn't working.
For me it cleans a bit too much, when I activate your mod I cannot see what is in any container that I come across :p The box appears when I hover the mouse over a container but I cannot see the list of whats in it.
No idea. Maybe because I clicked the "replace v0.1" checkbox when submitting? It's my first mod so I'm still figuring out all the details surrounding the submission process.
Thankies so much for this MOD. i adore immersive MODS that make my game more challenging and realistic ( not that i ever want a REAL fallout world..lol).
Now i have to visibly see a new location without my compass telling me. sweet
On a side note i saw someone say that it took away the container list showing whats in a container when their cross hair went over it. That would be a great immersive MOD as it wont be so easy to know what's inside what container!. It would slow the game down i guess when people are in a rush and infuriate some people having to open a container to find it empty or full of stuff they dont need but it does seem weird to know whats inside a container simply by looking at it instead of looking inside it..hehe.
just a possible idea for a MOD. but anywho...thanks and i will endorse this MOD and keep an eye on for updates x
do enemies appear on compass? if so, could you please add an optional file to do this? it breaks immersion when i see enemies on my compass. thanks. =]
Actually it does not break immersion. It acts like your ears and all other senses which could not be implemented through the screen and speakers. Red dots-indicatos are just showing you that you could hear and predict the enemy location. Don't be silly and make your game comfortable.
I agree with infamous, enemy blips absolutely destroy immersion. Blips persist constantly, even when noise / footsteps aren't close enough to hear, easily letting you monitor your enemies position, as they close in on you, takes away the thrill imo =)
silly for wanting to make my single player experience as close to real as i can? lol. i don't need the ingame perception because i have my own eyes and ears. for me its not uncomfortable, as i'm used to playing games without a radar. i also modded my game so footsteps are louder [plus i dont play with music on] so i dont need to rely on the compass, and at this point it just distracts me. if you could add the option, id appreciate it. thanks for the response anyhow. peace.

edit: solved for me. Though why is version 0.2 not listed as an update to 0.1 as far as the nexus mod manager is concerned?

Does it mean it will show undiscovered locations or what?
