The mirror is exclusively a container to be crafted at a settlement. No such mirrors will be found out in the wasteland, so in that sense it is an entirely separate item.
this mod have very (very) high chance to make your char face black forever. even rusty face fix wont be able to help. tested with no hd dlc or any face texture except cbbe and lookmenu(2 times).
Just found an issue on my system. The mod seems to conflict with Scrap Everything 2.5.5.
When I went to build the mirror I saw 2 instances with the same name in the menu. The textures were different, one looked old one looked newer. Mounting either mirror gave me a standard mirror with no Appearance option. I disabled S.E. and found that I had just one mirror and it now gave the Appearance option.
I re-enabled S.E. thinking the issue was resolved. When you choose Appearance you end up with the black load screen. Pressing ALT-Tab once will end the load screen and you are ready to go.
I have a bunch of mods from LL as well so I won't swear that it is just S.E. that is the issue. I can say that temporarily disabling it helps. Also be aware that the Looksmenu menu takes about 10 seconds to load. Again, I have some very script heavy mods and they may be exacerbating the problem
Do you happen to have Assimilation? Cuz I have been using this mirror with no problems until I installed Assimilation, now the appearance option is there but nothing happens when you press it. Assimilation does change your appearance (hair, body, tats) and makes it so you can't change back for a time so I'm hoping this is only the case while my PC is actively being Assimilated.
You should not be using Scrap Everything in 2024, regardless. It is 1000% guaranteed to bend your save games over a table and dump its corrupting seed all up in there.
Can confirm, and with Workshop rearranged it just moves somewhere.. Load it after scrap and Workshop rearraged and it will appear in Furniture/COntainers/Mods as Mirror
Haven't modded FO4 since 2017 and LooksMirror was one of my favorites. I'm using LookMenu v1.6.20 and LooksMenu Player Rotation v1.6. When I go into appearance mode in mirror as soon as I hit any key to edit my character disappears. Console command tfc doesn't work for me with this combination. I tried using LooksMirror without LooksMenu Player Rotation my character no longer disappears but I can't select anything on the right like hair etc. Anyone have any suggestions? Still using FASE v0.6.23 with game v1.10/163.
Had the same issue with the same mod. I did find that the ability to change things did end up working, though admittedly it took a minute to run. I wonder if you have a lot of things running? I'd try starting a new game and see what happens in the initial LooksMenu during character creation

Did you use Vortex or MO2 ?
i.e. do you use the old CWSS Redux 4.1? you can find looks mirror in there.
