Just to make sure, you copied the entire 'textures' folder into the 'data' folder right? You didn't just copy the files and put them directly into the 'data' folder?
Hmm.. I don't exactly know what could be the problem. From what you've told me it should work just fine. Maybe you have some other mods that are interfering? Possibly some texture mods etc. That's the only thing I can think of atm.
I'm finding that in some re-texture mods that a few files are missing, ie the n.dds and s.dds.....I couldn't find these for the cartons in your .zip, so am wondering if that is the problem. Dunno, not a modder, so it's about the only explanation I have.
Well, I don't really think so. The _n.dds and _s.dds files should not be an issue as the files I supply simply replaces the original ones while the files that I don't replace still are used from the original location (plus, it works for me and many others). And when it comes to the Enhanced Wasteland preset mod that shouldn't be an issue either as I'm running an enhanced shader mod too (unless it somehow does some wonky stuff with textures or the ini files)
I'm sorry guys, it's a bit hard to know what the problem might be without taking a look at your files etc..
Crimsonhawk87, could you let me know which other re-texture mods you're using? That way I can compare and maybe find a difference.
Next up: Red Rocket truck stops will be renamed to McDonald's(tm), complete with the clown on the roof instead of the rocket. Nuka Cola will finally become the real Coke(tm), and all terminals will henceforth bear the Apple(tm) logo...
Seriously, this needs to be a paid product placement. Bethesda could've made a huge fortune charging by sold copy, or by tracking based on hours played, or products viewed. But since Beth didn't Jomla97 totally should.
Ugh, didn't we go through that in-game-ad fad a few years ago already? It failed, if memory serves.
In-game ads are an aberration even more hideous than microtransactions. Well, if people want to plaster their own games with RL ads, why not, it's their game. But I for one definitely don't want Nexus to become a PR tool for billion-dollar-corps and to drown in a flood of publicity texture "mods". I'm not sure about what the stance on commercial content is here anyway... will need to look it up...
Pretty good, but why do the small dirty packs look just dirty and old - while the large dirty pack looks like it is made out of brick ? (the only part here that doesn't look good).
People really love their smokes I guess heh - we already have Lucky strikes and Camels done by another modder
I used the same textures for both packs, though now that you mention it the textures on the large cartons are much more visible. Thanks for the feedback c:
And I don't actually smoke, I just chose a random item from the game to try to change the textures as this is my first time :p

This and the "Wandere Theme" is not working aswell.
sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, INTERFACE\, TEXTURES\, SOUND\, MESHES\, MUSIC\, LODSETTINGS\, SCRIPTS\, VIDEO\
I mean, the Texture\ is added, and your stuff is in the data folder, thats it right?
1. Open fallout4Prefs.ini
2. Under the title '[Launcher]' add the line 'bEnableFileSelection=1' as stated in Gopher's 'Enabling Modding for PC' video.
Try this and let me know if it works.
Fallout4/Data/Textures/props/Cigar
This is how it looks till the .dds files show up

I found the solution, and maybe for the others too!
SteamApps / common / Fallout 4 / Data
If you check there, there is another Fallout4.ini file. It seems like not everyone has that!
sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, TEXTURES\, MUSIC\, SOUND\, INTERFACE\, MESHES\, PROGRAMS\, MATERIALS\, LODSETTINGS\, VIS\, MISC\, SCRIPTS\, SHADERSFX\
Add this at the "sResourceDataDirsFinal" line, like on the other .ini files. And magic magic, it works now! =)

I've seen mods like this in prior FO games that were not hassled, far as I know, by Trade mark holders.
I guess though, it is a reason to download early, and often.
I quit smoking the jakes back in early 90's.
But I since moved on to vaping as of a year ago or so.
What that has to do with anything. I dunno.
