Anyone know how to increase the number of auto saves? I'd like about 20 just because having every save condition blows through the number of available autosaves so fast that I might as well remove the mod from my load order.
Add the following to Fallout4Custom.ini change the number to whatever you want, however the main menu savegame list can bloat with higher numbers and become slow or unresponsive.
I'm not sure what youre supposed to add for mod name, "Jax's Incremental Save Manager" and "JaxsIncrementalSaveManager" (the file name) both do not work :(
update: i just used "(mod)" and it worked xD i thought I had to add the mod name!
This mod is a life saver. I accidentally scrapped something in a settlement that was part of the settlement and the last save I had was over an hour before now I do 5 minute increments. honestly Bethesda should have put in an auto save feature for settlement build for just this kind of thing.
Edit: either the game is saving to a different place or this mod isn't working because I am getting no saves from the auto saves.
I realize that this mod is probably no longer in development but if you do still read these comments I have a single request: please add this to the MCM. Everyone seems take the easy way out for changing settings (holotape in inventory) and now my inventory is getting so full of them that I can't find one when I need it.
If anyone can tell me how to do this for my own personal use I would really appreciate it. I've tried to do this and all I got was confused by the CK. Obviously creating mods is not one of my talents.
I am a CASM user in 3 and NV and have a few questions: 1. Is this mod presently set up to delete its own older saves as it reaches a defined threshold? (first quote implies this) 2. What is the defined threshold? 3. Will we one day have control over that threshold in the pip boy tool, like CASM had?
With CASM, I rarely needed to save because I set it to hold 100 saves before deleting and I would rarely want to go back that far, even on a 1 minute save timer. At some point I used another "inspired by CASM" mod (which for some reason I no longer have any record of having, which led me to shopping for this) that never deleted its saves, which was fine if I remembered to clear out the old ones every now and then. If this mod is going to only keep under 20 (or maybe even 50) of its own saves before deleting, I will need to plan accordingly and supplement with manual saves.
I miss CASM's save system of saving 10 times then saving over the saves again from 1. The auto-save feature is useful but you just have no control on rolling back =(
oke i try some test i thing its working now becaus i disable all saves beside save every 3 min ... every 3 min my game crash well thats mean the mod works for me now but why it crash now?
