Heh still works in 2024, amazing, one thing though if you use any companion or followers mod you gota put this last to load, override everything otherwise it won't work.
What a relief! Piper kept experiencing this bizarre glitch... We'd give her a rifle, but she continuously re-equipped that silly 10mm, which at some point in time decided to turn invisible. Admittedly, it was kind of funny watching her wielding nothing more than a clip. But what we really wanted was for her to keep using the weapon we gave her and this mod makes that possible.
I'm pretty sure you can freely modify companions outfit. If you equip them with a different outfit, their default one will be put back into their inventory.
I pretty much did that in my mod Companion Bugfixes (https://rd.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/2679). Unfortunatly a lot of it is probably outdated, but it should be easy enough for someone to extract the companion armour related stuff.
Would this work if I uninstall after I am done modifying their weapons? This is a great mod, and I feel I should load it only when I need to modify companion weapons, just to save total mod count.
Thank you for response. I haven't worked up to all companions yet (and not yet hitting the mod limit to the point I need to ration mods) so I am leaving it in there for now. Most disappointing is Nick's pipe revolver, but also most obvious. I build it to look like a rifle. This can be used for testing after I uninstall your mod.
I see the main file is version v0.3 and the optional Far Harbour update is v0.2; for installation purposes, are we still installing the optional update? Or does v0.3 include it now?
