Is there a way to leave the compass on or have a dynamic compass? (pressing a hotkey to see it) As immersive as this mod is, I often use the compass to see places I havn't discovered that I wouldn't otherwise know exist. I use the mod "Darker Nights" so its practically impossible to see anything in the distance at night, in which case I typically use my compass to navigate.
No offense, but you can just turn you HUD opacity to zero in the games settings and you get the same effect without have to add another mod. Just fyi....
A great mod, this makes the game 10x more immersive, you have to actually pay attention to your surroundings instead of relying on your HUD to tell you everything. A big "wow" moment for me was approaching a human with my gun drawn and aimed at them, unsure if they were hostile or not. As I got close, I saw the guy reach for his gun and he yelled at me, so I opened fire. It ended up being a gunner, so I made the right call! Actually gave me a bit of an adrenaline pump!
OMG! This was the thing i wanted the most, just the dot in 3rd person, no ammo counter, no AP bar, no health bar or compass, i had given up hope, but here it was all along. i've been playing with no HUD at all, although immersive, 3rd person combat is suboptimal. Thank you so very very much. :D
The "Modded - all tags ON (npcs and objects)" version + deactivated vanilla crosshair in settings turned out to be the best for me. I only see object names and loot and npc names and loot when I point in their direction, otherwise everything is hidden. Tried so many huds but none works as flawless as this one and on top of that no other mods I don't even want required to make it work. Awesome!
i absolutely love this mod but sadly its causing nuka world to crash....i seriously can't play without this mod. its so essential imo. i couldn't stand the crosshair that was covering up half of the fucking screen but i don't want to turn off the dot in thrid person either.
