since its just the receiver, i'm not sure about the sound. Recoil, i think so. i would like to make a standalone eventually, so i will defintely keep these things in mind. I dont really want to reduce the damage until I play around with it more (I have a feeling survival mode could render this gun useless)
Would like to see a standalone. Even it it uses a similar model just with a shorter action, more appropriate sound and next to no recoil. That would be super, I love my rifles.
I will wait for the standalone version. I assume the standalone version will not need the New Calibers mod? I generally stay away from mods that depend on other mods. It can cause issues if one of the mods isn't maintained. Looking forward to it. Thanks.
I like the idea a lot but with the lack of ability to change recoil and sound I will not install it as of yet, but if these issues can be rectified I'd endorse this in a heartbeat.
I sort of did the upload in a hurry, I will add some screenshots tonight. It is a .22 caliber receiver and it does use the hunting rifle model. Thank you for your suggestion, I will make it tonight.

No screenshots? What's it look like? (I'm guessing it reuses the hunting rifle model?)
I don't actually use New Calibers, though. Might I suggest a version that uses vanilla 5mm ammo?
If not, it's EXTREMELY easy to install / uninstall manually. Just put the one file in your .../Fallout4/Data folder, or take it back out.
