Endorsed! Checking this page all the time for the next update. Using this mod every time I go out for a smoke didn't realize how nice it was to have the save feature until I came back to my characters dead body on the screen xd Thank you for your work ^^
Cool mod! It adds som much needed flavor and roleplaying moments. I have just one gripe with it; I've seen NPC's smoke and walk at the same time *cough*Carla*cough*, but I'm not even able to move when I try. If you could look into adding that functionality (perhaps only on walk, but not run or sprint for balance) this mod would be complete.
One of the best mods ever. The only way it could be better is if you could somehow trigger your companions smoking animation so they can light up with you. Oh, and I endorsed the f*#@ out of this mod btw.
I will endorse and vote when you give us the ability to turn off the animation or add a no animation version under downloads. Its super annoying not being able to sit, shoot, sneak, or work out etc while smoking!
Having smokes soothe hunger (save for joints) makes sense, considering how often those that quit smoking gain weight. As far as the joints go, they should ease pain and even help flush radiation to an extent... at the cost of putting up with the munchies.
Had the same issue, installed during an active playthrough - dropping the cigarettes and boxes already in my inventory and picking them up again resolved it. They migrated from Junk to the Aid Section, after which I could use them. Great mod, totally immersive.
I have 3 ideas for additional features if you're interested. Cait as a companion reacts to doing chems, so I wonder if she could react to the smoking added from this mod? And maybe if companions have a joint/cigar/cigarette in their inventory, the animations could play as idle animations? Also what would the feasibility be of allowing the animations to play while seated?

If you smoke, while sneaking, no animation will play - Still get sneak bonus. About how many cigs or packs, I truly can't remember if I ever looked into.. Been a few years since my last playthrough
Just wanted to say that, even though in real life I quit smoking six years ago, I really enjoy this mod - totally immersive! Works flawlessly in my load order, haven't noticed any conflicts.
It seems to interfere with the MP7 mod from Navaro because every time I equipped the MP7 my character starts smoking and even if I interrupt it by opening my pip boy it will start again the moment I close the pip boy, even without cigarettes in my inventory. It will only stop when I equip another weapon.
It starts doing that about 1 hour after I completed the MP7 quest I think, I dont know anyone got the same problem?
Also, do you think it'd be possible for you to add a patch to alterate the animation a little bit if using player race mods? Stuff like Salechii, Vulpine, Lupine? I'm no modder, but it looks like a simple enough patch to make work. Would totes endorse this mod if you did it :P
Am I stupid or what? I got the cigarette packs in my inventory but they're still in junk. I'm actually very stupid, and haven't tried picking up a new pack of cigs after the mod had installed, but does it not apply to cigs that were already in my inventory?

- How can I remove/prevent all animations from occurring upon using a cigarette/cigar/joint?
- How can I reduce the number of cigarettes I get from packs and the number of packs I get from cartons?
