Having Strong can be a pain sometimes since he doesn't like you picking locks, making you lose some potential loot. However, if he's watching you smash open a door, he likes that since he thinks you're trying to be just like a super mutant, like him.

It's also a convenient way to get points from him as well.

Maybe he can like lock bombing as well, or should that be something for MacCready?

Gonna have a look, the problem is that it's... complicated.
By the look of things, I basically need to recreate a fake parallel companion system to keep track of my own custom events and react in consequence.

Damn, I thought it would be easy to do. All I have is NV modding experience, I haven't touched the FO4 GECK, so I have no clue if my skills will transfer over well.

If it does work, I kind of had an idea for other companion reactions to it.

Cait: Likes blowing up locks because she likes causing some trouble.
Danse: Dislikes blowing up locks because he thinks you might damage some valuable technology doing that.
Curie: Dislikes smashing or blowing up locks because you might hurt yourself doing so.

I'll take those into consideration. If I can do one, I can easily do all of them.

But the system is basically "send an event with a specific keyword", the keyword being a predefined one depending on what you just did. If I try to send a custom keyword in the event, it won't be recognized unless I edit the whole follower system to recognize them.

(completely out of scope, and potentially generating tremendous incompatibilities with follower overhauls).
