Underrated mod, seems to work with latest updates as well as more legendary spawns and with modified leveled lists. And for my part I did not have 1 single crash in an extensive 120 hours playthrough. Thx for this.
Right now I've been using a mod called Level Scale, but I think it's adding a bit too many changes to the game on top of WoTC(CSE Redone basically), if I were to install this mod, should it be loaded before or after WoTC? I need a challenge, and I don't like the restrictions put on survival, or want to add a mod to disable those changes just to play survival. I also have Respawnable Legendary Creatures and Giant Legendary Bosses(name?). By chance would you know anything about those? I'm trying to make the game harder without you know making alot of damage changes. Mostly if I can figure out which order this and War of the Commonwealth should be in, then I can place the rest to play nicely with them.
Any chance we could trouble you with a slightly more detailed change log?
"This is a simple mod which raises the minimum and maximum spawning levels of NPCs throughout the Commonwealth. Some adjustments are small, others are quite large, but overall the changes aren't too much for the experienced player to handle. It is common for enemies to be carrying miniguns, mini nukes and missile launchers."
This gives us a good idea, but I'd like to know "what" adjustments are small, and what are large. What kind of spawn numbers are we talking about here?
And when you say Miniguns, mini nukes and missile launchers are 'common'..... how common are we talking? If suddenly 50% of all enemies are walking around with those weapons that's gonna be a bit rough
I guess just some more technical info in the mod description for those of us who like to know what it's gonna do!
Also how does this compare to other spawn mods like "More Spawns" by varx? http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/11621/
I haven't downloaded any Spawn mods yet, so I'm just looking at which ones to grab. (Some are unfortunately unavailable to me due to my lack of Automatron DLC)
Would this also work with Vertical/Roof Spawns? http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/13236/?
Sorry for the late reply. I didnt change the number of spawns just the levels. I updated the mod so it is less insane but more stable so now youll see a wider variety of weapons. The launchers and mininukes used to be the most prominent weapons, 60% plus had them xD. I recommend commonwealth spawns extended. Ill add some more details to the description.
Im not sure if it would, i think so, a lot of mods are compatable. Thanks for the input
I don't suppose it'd be possible for you to make a version where the minimum spawn is set to level 50 and the max level is completely unlocked so we'd potentially see random spawns past level 200? Thanks.
Thats a great idea! Thanks. Ill make a super level one later tonight or sometime tomorrow. The minimum will be 50 and maximum....over 9000! Ill set up a gear box with some weapons, ammo and armor to make it easier. Im also going to make a power armor mod which adds a new suit of power armor which is 5 times more durable than normal soon.
I also recommend the ColloseusX's Toy Soldiers mod. It allows you to summon mini companions (i also recommend using the creation kit to tweak the characters that spawn so they are more friendly, the original mod hasnt made them your ally, just neutral. its easy to do. Id do it and publish it but i need his permission....)
On the other hand, is it possible to make it so the spawns are always a set amount of levels higher than the player? This would go from something like 10 at the starting area to as much as 50 in the glowing sea. Cool mod anyway, thanks.
I've discovered that it isn't sadly. The max level I can set it 255. I have seen enemies over level 200 though, NPC level is often based on your own in Fallout as well as the set level, so the higher you are, the higher they are. I have a level 12000 character and the highest level monster i noticed was 800. I advise making a new very hard character, setting their experience to 999999 using player.forceav intelligence 999999, then kill a few things and you should level in no time. You will have all the perks but the enemies are still hard if you only adjust intelligence.
Be careful when playing with new characters kiddies. This makes the game far harder, especially in particular areas. I'm making a new suit of power armor atm to make it a bit more manageable then another version which is harder again

I've since been using CSE.
Couldn't grab WotC because of the DLC. I'll have to get around to grabbing the DLC eventually.
The game is starting to get a little too easy, so I might give your mod a go in addition to CSE
