has anyone been able to fix the problem with it only snapping to the floor and not going on tables because I wanted to make it sit on a office desk but it doesn't like it and just snaps to the floor, if anyone can figure out how to fix it this mod will be even better than it is which is a great mod for survival difficulty
I have searched the entire Wasteland, every chest, every corpse, every pocket, every container, and every room. I have not found so much as a single Typewriter Ribbon to replace the ink. Fortunately I don't need to replace the ink with this mod.

I was able to fix two minor bugs - typewriters now show icons in workshop and can be placed easily on tables - but the clean typewriter doesn't make a screenshot while saving. Is there a way to fix this? It isn't a major problem, but it would help to sort out my savegames.
Any chance of making it a proper save (Perhaps optional or a choice?) Modding Fallout 4 without a proper save, just autosaves is pretty unreliable. This is a suggestion!
Sorry, I don't know the first thing about meshes. It can be placed on tables (at least some of them) but it is tedious. I strongly reccomend the "Place Everywhere" mod for easier and precise placement.
Couldn't you just use the worn texture that is used for all the other typewriters that are not pre-war? Like the typewriter that is next to the weapons workbench in sanctuary. http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Typewriter_(Fallout_4)
Oh, my bad. Didn't consider the option of "typewriter_rare" being the rusty one and simple "typewriter" the clean one. The rusty fits commonwealth better so I will change it when I upload an update.
