Items Not In Workshop ? Since this is still being asked even though it has been in the FAQ.... You Do Not Build Them From The WorkShop Anymore. You Use The Minutemen Summoner.
How do I get the Minutemen Summoner ? - You will automatically receive the item upon returning to sanctuary with Preston, Additionally you can Purchase the Item from Ronnie Shaw at the Castle
How do I get the Minutemen to Follow me ? - You will go to the Abilities and Items section of the Minutemen Summoner, You will select: Leadership Ability. This will grant you the ability to Recruit and Dismiss your Minutemen
How many Minutemen Followers can I have ? - You can have a Maximum of 3 Followers at any given time!
How do Minutemen Soldiers / Settlers Work from the Summoner ? - Settlers will be able to use all the functions of a settler, they will be able to farm etc. But they will not be able to be recruited! They will however act as a full blown settler. - Soldiers will only be able to be moved between settlements, They will walk around and guard your settlement as well as work guard posts automatically from time to time.
How do I get the ability to recruit higher ranked Minutemen and Settlers ? - You will need to progress through the Minutemen Quest Line to earn the abilities to recruit ranks of the Minutemen. - Additionally, If you start the mod in a current playthrough you will be able to use the Summoner by going to Abilities and Items and selecting Unlock Recruitment Level ** the ** will be based upon your current progress with the Minutemen. Please note that the highest levels of stuff won't be available if you don't beat the game with the Minutemen.
Will I still need to use the workshop? - The Decorative Items and the Vertibird Controller will still be linked in through the workshop for now. I will have all the items moved over to the new system with the next update
You added new weapons, But I don't see them on my Minutemen ? - As you Level up and progress through the game, Your Minutemen will start to wear better equipment. Progress further and your Minutemen will grow.
Is there a Limit to how many Soldiers/Settlers I can recruit through the summoner ? - Yes, Currently you will be able to recruit 50 Settlers, 75 Soldiers, and 100 Animals Total. [Next Update: I will have it set up to drain the global on a daily basis, and you will be able to build 3 Settlers a Week, 3 Soldiers a Week, and 5 Animals a week game time.]
What was fixed with 2.0.3 ? - Vertibirds Giving Random Item when you Board - Multiple Minutemen Spawning after completing the quest Nuclear Option - Dark Colonial Duster CTD when Dropped
What else was added with 2.0.3 ? - Mac-11 - Kalash Rifle - Scar-LK - LK-05 - ThatGun
2.0.1 Update is LIVE! - Yep I met my schedule.. It was a lot of work getting this done so hope you guys really enjoy it!
KEY THINGS TO NOTE WITH THE NEW UPDATE
MOD CONTENT FROM OTHER MODS: Although it includes resources from other mods, ONLY the minutemen are able to use these items. You will not be able to use them, unless you download the original mods that are listed on the Description page. With this in mind, I use Material Swaps to swap out the new armors with my new textures. This means it may ask you to override some of the meshes. This is fine because my mod uses the original mods meshes, with new items and new materials / textures. Both mods will work just fine no matter what, so if you don't have the original and download it and it asks to override again that's fine don't worry nothing will break. But remember! Some of these awesome items can only be used by you if you get the original mod!
VERTIBIRD LANDING FIX: Some players where unable to land the vertibirds with the command. To fix this a new item has been added to the Minutemen Defense Menu in the workshop. Build this item and then pick it up, Once you pick it up the vertibirds will land after finishing the current procedure in their package. All Vertibirds you built will land while this item is in your inventory, Once you drop it they will go back to flying.
VERTIBIRD FAST TRAVELING: The vertibirds will no longer attack settlements that are institute aligned, Additionally it is possible for the Vertibird to come equipped with Minutemen Soldiers, but you first must have at least 20 population COMBINED between all your settlements.
Just so everyone is aware, I am desperately trying to find some time to get some updates done for the mod, Please don't be mad at me!! This is what I do in my free time, and we had 7 people walk out of work in the last 30 days, and I am the manager. Which means I am pretty much working 12 hours a day 7 days a week, I do apologize for my absence and not being as available as possible but I just want you all to be aware that I am trying but I have to worry about my real life job first. Again I just wanted people to be aware of the situation so they don't think I am just abandoning them.
--In Other news, I have now worked out a way to send your Minutemen off to complete settlement attacks for you , and that will be part of the next update "I'm trying my hardest to have it done by wednesday"
Minutemen Overhaul 2.0.5 adds the additional Raider menu added in Fallout 4 1.6.3. That is the only update that has been made. At the time of this post, Bethesda is only using the Miscellaneous category for the Raider menu and otherwise it's empty.
For the MO OCD Patch be sure you are using the correct version. They are now labeled for the corresponding version of Fallout 4. Fallout 4 1.6.3 or greater requires 2.0.5 of Minutemen Overhaul. If for any reason you have not updated Fallout 4 and are still using 1.5.157 to 1.5.416 then use Minutemen Overhaul 2.0.3.
For SKE users. Use the current SKE Patch that says it's for Minutemen Overhaul 2.0.4. Since the SKE patch moves the Militia menu to the SKE menu that's why an update is not needed at this time.
When the Minutemen Summoner says "You can recruit a Maximum of 75 Minutemen", does that mean that if all 75 initial recruits die I cannot recruit more ever??
I have not found clarification anywhere on the mod page or forums, I'd appreciate feedback
Is anyone else having a problem with not being able to command the Vertibird defender? like I can order people to board it (sometimes) but when I aim at it to give the vertibird the order to fly it doesn't show the option
every time I pass the minutemen section of build mode the game CTDs now after completing the game's story. This means I cannot access the other categories past the minutemen section otherwise I land on the icon and the game CTDs.
Do I need to install all the "required mods" and required mods that the required mods need... I just say this cause some of the required mods require mods that require mods that add things I'm not really looking for. I'm just asking cause I feel like I might be doing something wrong given all the mods I've installed so far.
I know this is very late, but according to the description page, this mod has no requirements. I think you might have been looking at the mods that require this mod perhaps?
Hi As stated in the description of .0, I intend to use the assets from this mod that are recolours of minutemen reskin and standalone. I have already got permission from dales Thanks Domenicus
