It's possible to use a proximity sensor like autodoors instead spotlight? (es. when sensor detect someone then energy is transmitted via wire) thanks!!!
think i will use this by connecting this switch to a spotligth and a siren so settlers kno where the pesky intruders are i've been looking for something like this for a while now well done
I'm the author of ASP. What did you not like and how would you have done it differently? It's under (slow) active development and feedback always helps.
I tinkered with spotlights/turrets that acted like a switch but shelved the idea (for not at least) because it made it impossible to wire them in series. A discrete component like what you've done sidesteps that problem. I feel a little dumb for not doing this myself because that's the same plan I have for a different component (a turret/generator/purifier damage sensor).
It looks like we have a lot of the same ideas so I'm interested in seeing what all you come up with.
It's mainly aesthetics. So many wires going every where. Other wise it's great. I'd like to have wireless signals being sent to the logic gates. The only problem with that is without the visual wires you can lose track of what connects to what.
You're not dumb the only reason I had come up with my idea the way I did is because I didn't want to mess with nif/havok controls. In-fact, I wouldn't mind coordinating with you some. Having feedback from the community also is very important, So if there is anything you'd like to see or advice you can give. I'm all ears.
