Okay, the animal friend perk changes were fun and I played with them for a long time, but it broke dogmeat and several other mods so I had to uninstall it, but I'm still registered as friendly with all the creature factions, any way to undo this?
Just uploaded a new version which shouldn't affect Dogmeat.
To make creatures unfriendly again, you need to remove the Animal Friend factions from the character. These console commands should do the trick in theory.
I just spent 4 hours isolating which faction I was assigned to that broke animals from a separate mod and you had it pasted here. Thank you for helping me confirm this 8 years later (to the day)!
How do the animal friend interact with the pacify overhaul? I use the latter but could not force myself to invest in animal pacify. It really felt like a waste of perks. Now I want to use both and I wonder if there will be any problems.
It would be fantastic if you would also write the standart base game stats so we can compare it better, in my past I found mods either totaly over powering oder incredible unnecesary nerfing beyond reason
Do you have a full list of animals that are part of the Animal Friend perk? I've discovered that bloatflies are friendly after I took the perk, which caught me off guard since they weren't in prior games and I wanted to see if there were any other animals I wasn't expecting to be on this list.
Err, if you have all three ranks of Animal Friend, you can no longer communicate with Dogmeat, and he's basically not a follower anymore. Not just if have all three ranks before meeting him, as was mentioned before, even if he's already joined you, when you use that mod you can no longer have him as a follower altogether.
I just want to say THANK YOU for making the Animal Friend perk NOT a complete waste of points. Vanilla was absolutely worthless, wtf was Bethesda thinking? Probably, "hey lets turn Fallout from an RPG to another mindless, 'run and gun clone,' like CoD."
Hi, thanks for these changes I usually play with just your set of mods because they actually make meaningful changes rather than, say, nerf/buff damage by a set amount. I know you say that they are modular so that people can pick and choose what they want, but I always use all of them for all my Fallout 4 play-throughs, and was just wondering whether it could be possible to make an all-in-one just for those people who want everything?
An all-in-one package is something I plan to do - I do not like my load order unnecessarily being cluttered by lots of plugins. I'd like to get back to Fallout 4 some time after Nuka World release (I expect some perk extensions there just like in Far Harbor) so that's when I plan to do it.
Awesome, looking forward to it! As for Nuka World (which I downloaded today), did it break some parts of this mod? :O
VANS, Awareness and Ghoulish don't work (even though I'm ALMOST certain they were working before today) . . . Their graphics won't display, and their level requirements are ridiculous for level one (e.g. lvl 50 for first level ghoulish). . .
Yep, apparently these perks gained new ranks so they clash with the mod's changes. I'd like to have F4 (re)installed by tomorrow so hopefully I'll provide Nuka World compatible versions soon.

(No, you don't have to actually add petting the yao guai; your Animal Friend edit is now pretty rad as-is.)

Edit: Nuka World hotfix versions are now up.
Downloaded and it works now
