Greetings, really nice xml here, the styling is lovely. I have a problem that's quite annoying of sorts. I can't get all three digits of ammocount to show up, third digit is off the screen. Had the same problem with HP and AP bars but i fixed it, they where a bit off screen, but i can't get the ammocount fixed. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
*Kinda fixed it, had to go on the x -scale on ammocount to get it aligned properly.
Couple question though. 1) I noticed in the xml you set the color to grey for every object in the UI. When i opened my game the colors where as they where before. I changed them through the game options to be grey. Is it normal? 2) I want the Sneak indicator, is there a way to activate it with your mod? It's the only thing that i really miss.
Probably too late to help you, but for anyone else trying to figure this out:
1) It should be whatever colour you've set it to in the in-game settings 2) Go to "GameFolder/Data/interface" & open "HUDMenuSet".Hover over the sneak indicator (top, middle) & press 1. Give it a second to save, & it should work just fine
I made my own version and it has the survival elements implemented (not perfectly, but I'll leave that up to the mod author if they want to do it properly).
First I installed DEF_UI with Valdacil's Item Sorting as you would normally.
I then downloaded the minimalistic HUD and extracted its DEF_HUD.xml to a folder on my desktop.
I went to my Fallout 4 data folder, interface, DEF_CONF and backed up the vanilla DEF_HUD.xml
I then opened up both the backups in Notepad++ by right clicking and hitting "Edit with Notepad++".
I cross referenced them and noticed that the minimalistic HUD's one was missing parts that the Vanilla HUD had, so I simply added what was missing to the minimalistic one and adjusted the scale to 0.6 (to fit with the rest of the HUD).
I replaced the current DEF_HUD.xml in DEF_CONF with my new edited one
I then re-positioned the elements using HudMenuSet.
End result:-

I can upload it or something if anyone really wants it, but only with the mod authors permission of course!
Can you make a survival version where the survival meters are next to your health (preferably the icons so they can work in tandem with Colorful Survival Icons)
The survival icons are not editable in the base file as far as I can tell. I will check it again later today and let you know if I find a way to do it.
However, why did u remove those messages that say what u receive from quest rewards, disarming traps, etc.? Now, everytime I get something from someone, I have to check my whole inventory to -hopefully- find out what it was...
It is the same element as where you see that big quest icon whenever a quest starts. I found those really annoying, so that is why I removed it I can make a version with that one enabled?
Hey do you know what I should edit to fix the ratio for my screen? Some of the icons/text is cut off. My screen is 1920x1080. I am guessing its just as simple as me editing an ini right?
