My apologizes for the late response. I've been sick the past few days. Anyway, I played A LOT of Fallout 4 over the weekend using my mod. Out of the 30 or so hours I played, only once did someone appear in the Underground Railroad. It was a Brahmin lol
I'm not sure how often it's happening for you guys, but I kind of agree with another user who posted. The NPCs wondering see a manhole and go down to see whats there. It's kinda cool and a bit immersive, aside from when a Brahmin does it. So I'm going to leave it as is.
I've also started on my next mod project which is going to offer something a bit different and be highly detailed. Even though my attention and excitement is towards that, feel free to offer suggestions. I'd like to continue expanding on this mod once I finish my other one.
Thank you guys so much for all your help and support
So far so good. I've been extensively testing all the portals for the last two hours straight. Going in and back out through different ones, back and forth through the same, etc. With various companions (including custom robots).
There is a slight problem... The secret hideout is not as secret any more, there are NPC trapped behind the still locked gates now. They try to use the shortcut as well http://imgur.com/a/OwkJt
I have one Brahmin of a trader stuck in and blocking the entrance/exit to Concord. http://i.imgur.com/mZM2GaV.jpg
A terrific idea would be a spare man hole cover or two for the workshop in the special section for deployment anywhere in the commonwealth or Far harbor as an optional entry point for travel , those having a number of settlements beyond the borders would be easier to reach.
Is there anyway to remove the manhole markers? If they already have map markers i dont see why I need to have the permanent door icons showing me to them all the time.
I'd use this mod if that were the case because it's a really cool addition, but I dont like the visual clutter those markers cause
Do you mean the waypoint markers? if a quest marker is far away the fastest route is probably through the tunnels so the marker will tell you to go inside even if you haven't unlocked the door yet
I want to give you kudos for such a fine piece of work. I have no issues whatsoever and use this mod extensively.
What I want to suggest is an extension of this mod for those of us who simply cannot travel in downtown Boston without CTD's often occurring that make the game in those cells nearly unplayable.
Admittedly being ignorant of the effort it would take, I would suggest a third level that involves adding manholes at strategic points in downtown Boston in places that may be key to quest-lines. For example, ' Combat Zone ', ' Beacon Hill '', ' Old North Church ', etc. The manholes would not necessarily have to be at those exact locations, some may be conveniently between two of those quest points. You did a great favor for the ' Scollay Square ' as it is at ' Good neighbor '.
Sometimes it takes me five or six CTD's and moves to get to a quest point in downtown Boston, in spite of my resetting all graphics and options to ' Low ". My game performs flawlessly in the countryside.
I know there are many who have this issue with FO4 and this mod would be such a relief and alternative to going through such frustration. I cuss out Bethesda developers every time I go there.
Anyway, thanks for listening!
P.S. Some may consider the UR to be a 'cheat' or too 'non immersive' and what I am proposing even more so. I look at it as a fix to a very frustrating situation.
In any event, what I am thinking is that this could be offered as an 'optional' add on for those who feel it is too immersive breaking.
Hello! I had a question if you have the time to answer. I would like to know if it is possible to get the dlc areas included to this mod. I know it exists already for pc, but also as a user of ps4, I wouldn't mind to have access to the "redux" as well. Do you have want plans to create that or port the redux to ps4? If it is possible anyway. Thanks for reading.
I know this is, kind of, an old mod, but I was wondering if there's any way you could script(?) this mod to be able to send settlers to it? I want to use it as my base of operations for now, and I want to use this mod http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/18757/? to send all the crap I collect back to it...BUT that mod requires a settler to be assigned to the special workbench, and as it is I can't get any settlers there. I could maybe put a follower there, once I get one, but I really don't want to do that. Either way, thanks for the mod. It's been really helpful so far. Great work.
Can you add nuka world support? Plus. it would be cool if the manholes would be undiscovered locations marked on your map. I still have trouble finding them. but Im stupid lol.

I think we're experiencing a brahmin cowspiracy.
