   You can just delete it using the console; a mod isn't necessary.

   Hmm... from the playthrough I have been watching (GopherVids), the issue with that sign was not the sign itself, but where it was placed when you tried to build a gate and fortification on this side of the broken bridge. I.e. it could not be scrapped or moved.
   
   So I would have expected the sign to be moved back towards the blue house in image 1, or between the stone pedestal and the bridge, to greet any visitors, but not stand in the way of building.
   
   Just a thought.

      You can place the gate a bit more near the bridge, it fits just fine too.

      I've used the Place Everywhere mod to move it to where I wanted in the past
