Hello! This looks like an absolutely gorgeous mod, especially at night, but unfortunately I can't use it as it conflicts with Elianora's Faction Housing Overhaul - Institute Director's Quarters mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/15767/? which I consider absolutely essential to my Institute playthrough. Would you perhaps be willing to make a compatibility patch for it? If not, I understand. Have a nice day!
I tried to make my own changes to the Institute housing overhaul's Institute Concourse cell after I figured out how to locate the fog values in the CK. Yet oddly no matter what values for the scale, near and far fog I try, even ones mentioned here, nothing happens. Only way I've managed to temporarily remove the fog is by using the 'setfog 0 -1' console command. Yet if I use the numbers in the CK, it has no effect. No idea why.
Thank you very much for the mod, I know it is all a matter of personal preference but I really think the fog looks much better during daytime, however the night-time fog-free institute is an absolute eye candy. Wish we were able to switch the fog to be visible only during the day
I know this is not only the wrong platform, but the wrong website as well, but (not sure if you own the other account on bethesda.net) would you be able to make this an Xbox One mod as well? It's alright if you can't but it'd be pretty awesome if you did.
It does, however, and I'm not certain, but I think if you load this mod after, it'd be fine. It allows you to modify the cell as if it were a settlement as well, however it's implemented quite well. I've been using it, and will continue using it until Elianora uploads her institute quarters overhaul, as I really only needed it for the added crafting and room for power armor, which was absolutely essential. When that mod comes out, would you be willing to make a patch for it? Should be within the next week. I assure you many people will be using it as well, and a prettier institute is still made a lot prettier by having that light reducing fog.
Yes it does modify it. But if I change the load order, the removed objects return as statics (cannot be selected even with a console). That is why I asked for a patch.
Not sure how Fallout 4 handles it specifically, but fog is used to cull objects in the distance. Items deep in the fog don't have to be rendered fully. I'm not too familiar with Creation Engine to see what happens if interior fog in a huge area such as this is toggled off - but in my testing it's fine either way but with a small hit to FPS (might just be me tfcing around the concourse, though).

Thank you so much!
Can sou please make a patch for "Verdant Institute" by timbo345,
with both installed, the fog appears.
Thanks
Or having FogOut do not need this mod?
This mod is simply for people who only want to get rid of the Fog in the Institute, as far as I know
Im trying to get rid of the interior fog in one of my builds
