The mod now uses the same method than Bethesda CC mods to add the item into the player inventory. The magazine will now be given to the player when his characters exits Vault 111 for the first time, or immediately if passed that stage.
Just a heads up: The effect of this mod is copied to the save game THUS you can safely uninstall this one AFTER you set your desire build max size and SAVING.
After reading the discription and comments I couldn't tell if this is just a "change all the settlements at once only" or if you can set each settlement to a different size. for instance the red rocket truck stop location if made too big would overlap with sanctuary, just wondering. Thanks for making the mod.
I recently downloaded this mod. It's showing in Vortex as installed, but when I'm in the game, it's not there. I looked at the Mod load order and it doesn't show, I don't have the magazine in my inventory, and using either of the console suggestions isn't finding it.
Anyone have any suggestions for why it's not showing up?
So it was an issue with Vortex, not the mod. Apparently, despite stating it was installed and enabled, it wasn't deployed (and only after clicking around did I find that). Once I deployed it, it works fantastically. Thank you!
For everyone not getting the item on a ongoing save: open your console and type "help kit 4". You can scroll in the console by pressing PG UP. It's called [Settlement Max Size Kit].
It's not necessarily 9400267E for everyone. The first two numbers depend on what order this mod is on your load order. That's why you have to use the help command to find your own unique id.
I started getting a pop up about expanding the settlement every time I opened the workshop and then the workshop bench vanished!!! I could still access it (complete with pop up) but it wasn't there. This was in Sanctuary. I didn't notice it right away but when I fast traveled back to Sanctuay, I found the bench gone and happiness had dropped from 83 to 10 and was continuing to drop.
