Please, please could you make a version that doesn't have anything to do with the chameleon effect. I can't get it to go away I've read through every single comment I've reinstalled mods and checked files. I can only change the textures on the armorbench. It might just be me that is stupid as hell or it might be another mod that I have that for some reason prevents me from removing the chameleon. I really hate that effect and wish it didn't even exist withing the game, I never use stealthboys either.
I really like the textures but can't use them as long as my character turns invisible when I crouch.
Please make sure that you are only using the FOMOD installer version of this mod. The other files are incompatible with this. If you're using any other files, please unequip the suit, save your game, quit and uninstall them. Then install the FOMOD verison.
You can then remove the chameleon effect from the suit at an armour workbench.
I'm working on another retexture for this particular outfit model, but it's a different style to this one here. As this was my first retexture mod, I learned quite a lot from fiddling around!
Here's a preview of it: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/images/31565/? http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/images/31907/?
I can't wait until you release the xsD-02 texture. I wanted to ask for something with a color scheme, but I chose instead to ask for something else, and here is better than what I had hoped for Super excited. This is excellent work.
Firstly I want to thank OniNigma's and Nasias for the excellent mods. Let me offer my version of 'STANDALONE - Rubber - Blue Camo - GITS Motoko Kusanagi outfit (BodySlide)'. 1. Made on the AWKCR armor workbench. 2. You can modify outfit on the vanilla armor workbench. It DOES NOT require installation Armorsmith Extended. 3. I changed the camouflage colors adding the colors of autumn leaves. 4. I'm a little edit mesh using Caliente Outfit Studio. (Did a little more spacious in the area of ??the neck.) 5. Damage resistance 25 Energy resistance 20 Poison resistance 10 Radiation resistance 25 Endurance +2 (No chameleon) Installation: 1. Install 'STANDALONE - Rubber - Blue Camo - GITS Motoko Kusanagi outfit (BodySlide)'. 2. Using NMM install my mod was substituted. Be sure to uncheck GITS_suit_camo. esp!
Maybe someone will like my work. This is my first experience of creating mods.
Sorry for bad English. It is not my native language.
Oh yeah! Mod can be found here https://www.dropbox.com/s/46p2xpixyl4f2vh/GITS_M1.rar?dl=0
I'm wildly assuming this is the cause, as this happened to me as well when I was testing the no-chameleon file.
The no-chameleon file isn't retroactive. This means, if you applied the no-chameleon fix, and loaded a game where you were already wearing the outfit, the game doesn't like it, and you end up keeping the chameleon effect permanently, even if you take off the outfit.
To fix it, try removing the no-chameleon file and put the regular one back, load your game, take off the outfit, save, quit, add the no-chameleon file again, load back up and re-equip the outfit.

So I tried this, followed the steps (pretty simple really). It did not work.
Went back to an old save, before I had acquired the camouflage GITS suit...added suit via console (with the no chameleon .esp) and still it didn't work. So weird. I can't get this working. Went as far as a fresh uninstall/install, load up save before suit was acquired. Even that didn't work still.
You sure its not a version mismatch between newest standalone version (may 5th) and the no chameleon.esp version (may 4th)?
The reason I didn't update the No Chameleon file was because it only contains an ESP file, and both version 1.0.1 and 1.0.0 Standalone contain the same ESP files -- Thinking back I should probably have changed the NC file to 1.0.1 so it's less confusing ^^.
Anyway, version 1.0.1 has an updated texture file, and updated bodyslide files. Everything else is exactly the same as 1.0.0 (including the ESP) so that shouldn't be the cause. I've just tested the NC file myself, and it works for me.
The only thing I think that might be causing an issue is the Outfit Add-ons file. Are you using that? If you are, I've uploaded an additional Outfit Add-ons file that has no chameleon effect (the original one has it)-- so give that one a try.
Removed the old GITS_suit_camo_ASE.esp, fired up saved game where I had changed outfits. Equipped the camouflage GITS suit, crouched and yay! chameleon effect gone. Came back here to thank you (eventhough I was gonna miss the add ons). I noticed you uploaded a newer version of add ons without chameleon effect. Installed it and fired up saved game and it still works!
I went ahead and gave you some kudos because honestly you went out of your way to accommodate my request. That is greatly appreciated. Also I love the fabric replacers especially the change from the rubbery look to a more textured surface look to the suit. Really nice detail, I really like it. Thank you so much for your help. I would endorse again, but I had already done so lol.
I've uploaded an optional file that implements workbench mods/add-ons/improvements for you.
Note that it requires you to have Armorsmith Extended. Please make sure your load order is: Armorsmith Extended -> GITS_suit_camo -> GITS_suit_camo_ASE
Same. I get a blank screen in the preview when I try to open this model in Bodyslide. I'm running the standalone version too, although I overwrote the default textures with the blue fabric texture.
I can open the model in NifSkope, but it doesn't seem to point to any texture paths. Not sure if the textures are handled by a texture set in the ESP or if that's an oversight.
Sure thing. Do you want me to recolour just the camouflage part, or give the entire outfit a green militaristic look? I presume you'd like the camouflage pattern to be darker as well. Let me know what you want
I leave it entirely up to you but yea darker for sure so suprise me you are the artist here but if i can lets say more armor in camo pattern but not just whole suit in camo pattern if you can understand me because my english is not good also fabric pattern is more better then original
color is good also i meant make more parts of that suit covered with camo also i need replacer not standalone can i somehow use old version with new textures?
This is pretty cool though I actually like the fabric on the original. Too many mods have that too smooth rubbery look and it was refreshing. What would I need to do to keep the texture on the black fabric but still use this texture?
Do you want the entire outfit to retain the same fabric look, including the camouflage part? Regardless of that, modifying parts to retain the fabric look (or the whole thing! ) is fairly simple to do. I can upload an optional file for you within the next day or two. Let me know what you want.

Can you consider about this?

Either way keep up the good work!
I didnt know that, I am going to try that now.
Update:
Yes you need to have the legendary modification mod to remove the chameleon effect.
I can't seem to get it to disable.

Are you going to do anymore colour variants?
Cool work btw

Thank you for your attention.
I am using v1.0.1 Standalone, but you never updated your No Chameleon file to that version? Is that why?
Thanks for this awesome re-texture.

@TheCorpulent1 - The textures are handled by materials files (.BGSM) They're located inside the materials folder.
I don't really know why it doesn't work for you but please try uninstalling all versions of the mod, and re-downloading the newest version.
