    Hi there! I'm currently learning modding and I want to make something similar to this device. Could you share the script of how you got the weapon projectile to save a location for the teleport?

    I don't suppose this could have been done without load screens? I'm going to use this regardless this is pretty sweet.

      Disappointingly, no. I think I'm limited to the game engine on this one; at least for the moment.

    It would be nice if it had a further range. If I can see a place, I want to teleport there! But it has a much shorter range then expected.

      I could be wrong but I think it's a limitation of the engine.

      Basically, to illustrate the limitation, if you use console commands "TLL" it toggles LOD which is basically the flat background sceenery. and that can't be hit by your projectiles, because it doesn't exist in the physics part of the world.

      it's my assumption that a scope could zoom in and load more of the world thus increasing the possible distance you can travel, dunno

      To restate in other words, after a set distance some items are replaced with phony models made to look like they're still there, but none of enemies, or chests or really anything other than this phony are there. as such the projectile can't hit, and if there's nothing hit, the script that moves you around won't run, because you're basically shooting the sky.

    I would love this if the weapon looked like the laser pistol Don't really like the appearance of the alien gun. But good mod nontheless! Cheers!

    I have a question, where do I find the "ammo" for this device? I have the device but do not have any ammo for it.

      Looks like that was a glitch with creation kit using the wrong ammo. In the latest file the gun no longer needs any ammo.

    We actually already have a working concept on that. If demand is large enough we could get that working fairly easily.

    This would be a devious and terribly fun weapon.

    The only thing I could say otherwise is that, boy, I really hope this has a (magnifying) scope to get a better look at where you're going.

    Going to add to qasmoke cell in a bit, until then you can use the console command help "personal institute relay" 4, then player.additem ID
