Kinda wish there were less starting special points. That's one thing I liked about 4 until I realized it was so low to get you to pump your special stats. Well, there's already the No Special Bobbleheads mod.

Combining this with Simple Level Cap mod makes the game balance much better than vanilla.

I don't understand why this mod is not popular. Thank you so much!

I like the idea behind your mod. I like the idea of the characters stats being set from the start and having only a few options to increase them (bobbleheads, various items, etc). I don't like the idea of being able to create a god character. Especially since its very easily done with no level cap. What I'm realizing though is I might have made a mistake by neglecting my Charisma stat. Speech checks seem to be directly effected by that stat. So I was thinking my only option to increase that stat is picking up stat increasing armor or using drugs. That might be a pain. What I'm wondering is there a way to restrict stat training so it doesn't increase past a certain point? Like its capped at 6 or 7 for improving via perk training. I like the idea of not being able to make a maxed 10 stat character but at the same time I kind of want to use the training feature once or twice

Ah, thank you for making this! Now I just need to find someone who's re-written the game to make it skill-based again, and it might be worthy of the name "Fallout". Great work on this mod, through the efforts of modders like you we will someday have the RPG Bethesda promised us.

Please allow us to download it directly with NMM - it makes update notifications much easier.

You don't need to do anything special to your mod package if its just dropping the files straight into /Data,

Ah, I see. I don't use NMM and was having trouble finding info on how to set up the mod for it, because, like you said, nothing needed to be done.

I've enabled the NMM download and everything appears to be in working order. Please let me know if there are any problems.

Nice move to improve difficulty, maybe ill try it on one of my hardcore setups. First thing that comes to mind though is that f4 isn't designed for this, but needs testing.

I look forward to your feedback on this. Although the general idea was to give the game's SPECIAL a feel more like the earlier games, it amounts to better early game power but with hard limits on late game advancement. I had played around with high level options to increase SPECIAL stats, but I was worried that it would cheapen any compromises in stat allocation.
