New 4k Models are Available!! These versions are standard, and do not currently include the flags / stars version, just the standard without them. They are larger files, but are more detailed and higher quality. This is for those players wanting the best look on higher graphics settings.
I might be missing something, but I can't seem to locate the Rusted Version of Standard Camo. Is this available for download?
In addition, I was also curious if you had given any thought to adding something like the classic US Army Power Armor paint scheme that resembles what the two armored soldiers during the intro are wearing (sort of a uniform army jeep dark green with a white star)?
My husband downloaded the standard camo, and we think this mod is extremely well done! He is finally able to play in a proper military style suit. Thank you!!
Haven't had time to make the rust version of the standard camo yet, Been so busy with work, and I currently have like 8 popular mods I am trying to keep updated haha, Tomorrow I promise I will upload a Rusted Standard Camo, but please endorse me for it endorsements are how I get paid haha, if you can link me an image of the camo you are requesting, I can surely give it a go
I replayed the tutorial and realized that the power armor soldiers outside Vault 111 are probably using the same light olive paint job as the basic military custom job offered in-game. Personally, I'm not a fan of it and was hoping the game would offer something closer to the darker olive color and rusted texture you see on the abandoned army vehicles (the ones with the big white star). Older Fallout games and lore had US power armored soldiers in suits more closely resembling classic US army vehicles. Another problem with the in-game military paint job is that it just looks too clean and doesn't have enough rust/distress to it.
This is just a pie in the sky bit of brainstorming, and if it's not feasible, don't sweat it, as your existing work is awesome. I've just always been a fan of the classic Fallout army vehicle look. Thank you again!!!
why not replace the standard military paint which is ridiculously ugly? i dont mind crafting it... and since people are moding the game, i dont think they mind using the console to add the materials for crafting the military paint... Also, i already have a nice mod that replaces the flames hot rod paint, but i would like to have both. AND IT MAKES MORE SENSE! since its a military paint mod, it has to replace the military paint right?
Actually, It won't be replacing anything, sorry I have been working on my 4k textures first, but I am already making this into a stand alone so you can have every single paint job at once, Icurrently have 39 paint jobs I can paint my power armor with
Well Ladies and Gentlemen, I have now made the Rusted Power Armor... INTO A MOD and a new paint job , I will now be converting ALL current files into mods rather then replace the flame paint job, this will take me a lil time, so please be patient with me! I will have it done for the most part, before the night is over. Thanks!
I downloaded and added the files to my game, but it doesn't seem to work. I see the new paint colour in the list (with some weird characters in the name), but when I select it I just get the armor's default skin.
Make sure in your: sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, It will be under the header [Archives]
Change it to look like this: sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, TEXTURES\, <--Add MATERIALS\, here
and go to c: users\user\appdata\local\fallout 4\ and add the mod to the plugins list there... for the BGSM files you have to add MATERIALS\, to the list
My apologies, but I have to ask for further clarification.
1. My Fallout4.ini file is modified, under [Archive] / sResourceDataDirsFinal to list the full gamut of things that can be added: STRINGS\, TEXTURES\, MUSIC\, SOUND\, INTERFACE\, MESHES\, PROGRAMS\, MATERIALS\, LODSETTINGS\, VIS\, MISC\, SCRIPTS\, SHADERSFX\
2. My plugins.txt file lists DigitalPA.esp
3. In my Data folder I have:
a) Materials & Textures folders with all your files in them. b) The DigitalPA.esp file
is your folders, Textures/actors/powerarmor... and Materials/actors/powerarmor ?? when I uploaded them I had the BGSM "Materials" in the wrong folder. I have corrected this with the new upload, but make sure they are in the correct folders and let me know if they are
Right now I'm having issues getting it to work for every single power armor, unless I make a mod for each different type of armor, which is a pain in the ass, I can get it to list the paint on all the armors when put into 1 mod, but it will only paint 1 model and the rest just revert to there original pain, once I get this figured out I will have a bunch of sets done, I got it all prepped, just trying to figure out this last hurdle, But FO4Edit has been released now, so I will be using that and hopefully that will solve my issues, just have to remake them as FalloutSNIP is causing errors, so starting fresh with a new mod.

I love these skins for all my PA's. Having them available as seperate paints will be a wonderful thing.
