Worked great until I installed Aloot's Home Plate. Turns out that mod creates a separate custom workbench with its own storage that links to all the workstations inside Home Plate. Easy enough to switch the Diamond City workstations modified by this mod over to using the new workshop from Aloot's mod in xEdit, and then it's back to working fine again.
So basically any mod that makes change to the default workbench for home plate will cause this mod to function incorrectly, but the conflict can probably resolved through editing the plugin.
assuming you have: "Home Plate - Diamond City Workbenches" and a mod like "Aloot's Home Plate" or "Home Plate Expanded" that creates a new interior cell as your modded home plate then you need: F04Edit- https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/2737/ to link the Diamond City workbenches to the workshop in the new Home Plate, instead of linking them to the vanilla Home Plate like this => https://imgur.com/a/VOm22i0
"Does that help" PFF dude I dont think you could be ANY more helpful if you tried. That was perfect! Your instructions were very very clear and extremely helpful with the images, I am fresh/new to FO4 edit so I NEVER would have gotten this on my own, or by looking up vidoes (3 of my friends tried). Thanks so much! :D
Not to necro the s#*! out of this post, but that was THE MOST useful bit of information I have read on Nexus since learning how to originally install mods.
Currently trying this, but I'm stuck when the option "Add masters ..." doesn't work on HomePlateConnected.esp ...
My Custom Home Plate .esp has a load order like [FE 001], is that normal ?
--- EDIT : after adding an ESM flag on my custom Home Plate mod, I can add it as a master of Home Plate Connected, but the changes still don't apply in the game ...
hey Prime170, maybe you got the wrong ID from Aloots Home Plate's Workbench it seems like you copied the value of NAME - Base where you should copy the value of Record Header > Form ID
I set up red rocket and connected it to Home Plate using the Sim Settlements logistics station provisioners and was able to draw materials from red rocket, working great and I intend to use SS Logistics to redirect everything every settlement makes either into a container at Home Plate or directly into the home plate workbench, it's gonna be grand.
Brings back memories of Megaton NPC's entering my house and taking my crap in Fallout 3. Ended up putting mines on the inside of the door and made the whole town hostile :S

thanks for the hint !
Ok I try to do a quick explanation ...

I already knew how to do that from other stuff but I like how despite people giving thanks nobody gave you a good boy point, so here have one.

it seems like you copied the value of NAME - Base where you should copy the value of Record Header > Form ID
Current Load Order omitting irrelevant:
1 Home Plate Full Settlement
2 Home Plate - Diamond City Workbenches (optional for diamond city workbenches)
3 Basement Living - Bunker and Basement Player Homes (optional extra space, only ties to host settlement)
4 Basement Living-Immersion Adjustment (not sure it even works)
5 Everything Sim Settlements related including logistics which already works with the settlement mod.
6 Scrap Everything

Resident: "I'm not your friend, Scavver" While blocking my staircase.
Meanwhile another stranger is outside tinkering away on my power armor with a wrench. Though, I doubt this is mod related.
Thanks, radiant AI!
I think you could work around this problem by making the player house doors automatically lock, ala Covenant.
Awesome mod idea btw llubtoille.
