I know this mod is old, but I would advise against using it as it breaks precombines. The new ferry to spectacle island mod is probably a better choice - https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/47091?tab=description.
The broken precombines can be fixed in xEdit. Just remove the "Landscape" records and any record called [Placed Object], note the brackets. The removal of these records hasn't created any visual issues that I can see, not yet. And I like that they're just simple rowboats, no raw steel required.
Simple and awesome mod. There should be more mods like this. There are several places, especially in FH that require boats to move from one island to another or from the coast to the islands.
Draspur, if you're still active, would you consider adding Kingsport Lighthouse and/or possibly Nordhagen Beach as well for both Nexus and Beth.net versions?
As always, users need fix Beth games. Absolutely necessary. Count as "bug fix." There is no sense player swim, if he can build entire settlements surely can build a boat, and also there are lots of abandoned boats around. Not to mention the danger in swim.
