The 'quicksave' item does appear in the piboy and I click on it and I get the message 'automatic saved' implying that it was saved. But in 'load' or rather in the save history I don't get the recently saved game
It may be if you're using fallsouls since it makes the world still active when you use the pipboy, but if you assign a number to the quicksave with "favorites", you can close the pipboy and save your game.
attempted this MOD after the 'update'/whatever the company did (heard many mods broken by it)
SO - It (this mod) Doesnt work (on PC, Win 10, STEAM startup, all rest vanilla (bundle DLCs) - being first mod attempted)
Nothing shows up in inventory - no 'save item thing appears in Misc or Aids ...)
I followed instructions (that was helpful with instructions about basic mod s#*! ) :
""" Place the extracted files (ba2 and esp) to the 'Data' folder of the Fallout4 main directory
Then activate it: Go to your 'AppData/Local/Fallout4' folder and add this line to the 'plugins.txt' file: *Quick Save.esp
That's it... you will find a 'Quick Save' item (AID) and Settings (MISC) on the Pip Boy.
Note: if you don't have plugins.txt, make a new one using notepad. """
Data folder ... OK (.rar file required a MS download of a extractor - OK )
??? the "*" on that 'quick save' entry to be put in plugins.txt ( I had to add a plugins.txt to the parent of the DATA directory - where else would the plugins file be put ??)
Tried it with and without "*" ( I did try to find plugins.txt examples to see what is expected in that file)
??? ANYTHING ELSE MISSING TO WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE ????

Survival mode is simply excruciatingly tedious with the bedtime Saves and lost progress for Missions ( too many being gauntlet that requires repeating over and over and over to get past the many opponents - a repeated tedious run just to the front door of the mission ) - SO thus reason of attempt at my first mod ...

Today(6th July 2024), I download this mod with Script Extender and Unofficial Patch... And seems to be working well 😃 Hope it will, because I'm on beggining and don't have any other mods, especially for sleeping(saving) 😃

I tried to increase the amount of saves we can get out of it but there is no file of Fallour4Custom.ini
I tried pasting the code for more saves in other .ini files but cannot get it done.
Is the problem of the version of the fallout? Its Fallout 4 Next Gen that I have here.
