Alright, first of all: I'm sorry that I've been so lazy lately, every time i think of using NifSkope and ck, my body starts to shiver. So yeah, I'm gonna tease you now. With the Rusty version of my M1911 (A1 / AMT) , they're in the same color scheme right now but I'll add a non-rusty, a silver and a silver with gold engraving aka. the Moneyboy version, just give me a little bit more time
First really like your idea for this weapon. It is very unique concept. I am wondering though, is this mod abandoned now? I have not seen any updates and such in a while. Once again thank you for your work.
Abandoned sounds very harsh, but well. I guess I did, for now. I wont be working on it that much because fiddling around in CK and NifSkope with douzens of mods that need to fit where they are is a little bit dull and frustrating. No fun. Even though I already have a LOT of meshes with textures done, I can't get myself to even play fallout 4 anymore, didn't touch the new dlc at all and went back to skyrim. But since so many are eagerly waiting for a "good" M1911 I'll have to continue working on it sooner or later. Sorry for everyone who expected more of me but this is still my first mod and I'm not in this scene for that long. Anyways thanks for your compliment.
I am really excited for this mod, aesthetically it fits into the game a lot better than D00M's 1911 as this is a true old-school M1911 A1. The mod options are really awesome and unique as well. In it's current state though, I do have to say that I'm a bit disappointed with the quality of the texture though your screenshots in the stickied post look promising. Keep up the good work.
I have no idea what you mean, but I can tell you that you wont be able to use this weapon for a play-through, yet. It's simply too unfinished right now, but that is subject to change. I'm working on something with a friend right now, though, so it could take a little while. Maybe until the day where the contest entries close, so yeah.. Sorry for that :x
Good sir, have you consider Coonan or Grizzly .45 Winmag M1911 components for some point in the future? Or maybe even something along the lines of the "Lebman" or "Dillinger" conversions for the M1911 (maybe a wire stock)? If so, BULLY NEWS INDEED! If not, well, this hurts me on the inside.
In tandem, there is an M1911 alternative designed by Obregon, of which the slide would look amazing in game; the same can be said for the American .38 Semi-Mid Range Wadcutter M1911 variation as well.
Either way, carry on, and keep making such wonderful stuff.
I'm always looking for more costumization Ideas, but for now, my agenda is fully packed with texturing. I have 3 different texture sets in which I have to create atleast 2 variations which will take a LOT of time, but I've certainly heard your call. The Coonan or the Obregon version will be the most likely ones since the other variations don't exactly apply to my view of the perfect M1911, because I like to keep it classic, especially in a game like Fallout. But as I said, I'm busy doing this other stuff which could take a while, so don't expect anything until after the full release.
The wire stock will be in the game 100%... Well, not 100% but as long as the animations don't interfere with it too much, I'll consider this.
Hello I really loved using this mod thank you for all your hard work! However I was wondering if you had any plans for uploading this to Bethesda.net so future console modders can enjoy your work?
Depends, I'm currently trying to modify a LOT of things, I've already modeled an AMT Hardballer version of this gun, I just need to figure out how to pack all the different attachments into as few texture sets as possible with the best results, after figuring that out, i need to texture it and optimize this all in nifskope and CK, which isn't exactly my forte so don't expect things to go ham too soon. Thanks for your nice compliment though, much appreciated. It's things like this that keep me motivated.
