I was getting mad trying to diagnose why the console didn't work since I needed to get into lookmenu. Then I realized disabling console on survival mode is a silly enough thing that it would be something that Bethesta would do xD
In retrospect this was quite obvious but this may help someone.
I could not get this mod to work which I needed to fix a bugged quest. Tried a few workarounds with no success, so went to Very Hard mode to enable the console and it still would not open. I then realised it was my keyboard layout which meant @ and not ¬ activated it.
I have not played the game for an age, and had recenly played Fallout Vegas where ¬ worked so it did not cross my mind. Probably not my finest moment, but thought I would share in case anyone else unknowingly have the same issue. Mod works, quest fixed and Mod endorsed. Many thanks for your Mod!
Just tried it myself and it didn't work the first time. Tried again and noticed that when I used the "Mod Manager Download" link it gave an error in Vortex about an invalid download link. I went back to Nexus and hit the "Click Here" to download manually and it downloaded and enabled properly in Vortex from there.
I like playing on survival mode, but I also need this feature, because I sometimes need to edit an NPC's appearance in-game. Also imagine getting stuck in a corner and have been playing for 30 minutes without saving, and the only way to salvage your progress is to console your self out.
Работает реально. Все просто в путь C:\Users\Имя Пользователя\AppData\Local\Fallout4 добавляем файл plugins.txt в него вписываем 2 строчки Fallout4.esm *console.esp сохраняем. Файл ставим только для чтения заходим в игру, радуемся
