    VERSION 3.1 - Another attempt to squash the infamous invisible weapon bug
    -Tested by spawning / looting the rifle over 100 times. No errors on my end.
    -All versions spawning in the world should now be fully visible, and modified versions should retain their mods once Receivers are changed (NOTE: You may need to acquire a new version, or reinstall mods after installing this update.)
    -Improved weapon naming conventions when tacking on multiple mod types (Spetsnaz ___ - rifle, carbine, sniper rifle, scout carbine, recon rifle, etc.)

    Please remember to endorse if you like the mod, and share with your peeps!

    Do not post bugs under the comments section. I'll be moving any I see here, as they belong in the bugs section. I cannot guarantee I'll catch them all... so help me out here.

    I've generally hinted at this in the past, but I'm going to just be blunt moving forward - I do not make patches for external mods.

    Q: Why?
    A: Quite frankly, there are so many different mods out there (scope overhauls, item sorting, ammo types, rebalances, etc.) that I can't keep track of them all. Heck, I don't even use most of them, so I do not believe it is my responsibility to make patches.

    Q: You're the mod author, don't you think you should do it?
    A: Nope. Other modders may do it (and props to them), but I have other things that I need to be focusing on for work, family, and friends. I don't get paid to do this (nor do I want to). Also, there are times I just want to play a game or work on a new project.

    Q: Who will do it then?
    A: Why don't you? I learned how to mod by tinkering with the FO3 GECK, then gradually learned new things over time. Maybe this your chance to step up and pitch in! :-)

      I appreciate the work you and other modders do, and completely understand not wanting to spend your limited time and energy doing something you don't love.

    Will this be getting an update anytime...? Please lol. 
    Why would they update a game like 8 years too late and break so many mods.

    I love this rifle, but the damage is a little too low. It's not competitive with other weapons out there at mid to higher level play, even when you use the New Calibers patch to rechamber it. Would it be possible for you to release one last update that boosts the damage a little? I'd love it to be on the same level as the stock Combat Rifle or the M14 mod at the high end.

    I wish to say thank you for this mod. The VSS Vintorez and AS VAL have been some of my favorite overall weapons since playing the STALKER series. I armed all my Vault 88 security guys with the AS VAL version, as they just look like a a weapon you'd expect them to use. Lightweight, compact, and powerful.

    Since S.T.A.L.K.E.R. this gun is my absolutely favorite one.

    I realy like the gun but imo this gunmod is "a little" to overpowered. Headed into HalucigenTec. and fought the gunners there and came out with 8 rifles and hell yeah, you can shred through enemys with it. Its range is huge with 800+ and the dmg output is also that strong that i can oneshot most of the enemys without any special perks for sneak crits.

    Maybe nerf range, dmg and spawn rate a little.
    All in all this weapon mod is pretty nice and i endorse it. If the mentioned things would be taken care of i'd even say its the best weapon mod of. ^^

    can legendary versions of this gun spa? has anyone seen such a gun?

      Do you mean spawn ? as in a raider or gunner you kill drops the weapon and it 's legendary ? I'm pretty sure it's on a leveled list.

    A couple of questions;

    -Out of the first three gunners that spawned after installing this mod, two had the Spetsnaz rifle. Is there an option on the leveled lists to alter how often a weapon will spawn? Feels funny to have such a specialized weapon be so common in the Commonwealth.

    -Gun specs show 800+ range for the rifle. This can't be right, or can it? Wouldn't make sense for it to have 4x the range of other rifles.
