This mod has a few known issues, noted in the in-game readme. Please review it before posting a bug report. I will update the front-page documentation soon to reflect this.
Particularly: understand that there is a slight time delay when opening a Conquest workshop with a supply line attached, and understand that armor, general goods, and weapons vendor stands may not buy or sell anything (clinics, however, should work fine).
These are early days. I greatly welcome your feedback. There's a lot that can be done with camping that hasn't been explored yet, like more uses for the portable generator while on the road. Things like powered water purifiers and the like.
Just as a development update, I won't be working on this again until I'm finished with an update that I'm working on for Frostfall in Skyrim. Thanks for you understanding.
Not sure about others, but I tested this on April 2024 and the mod loads but the moment you try to build more stuff it crashes the game, here's my feedback and personal experience:
I'm able to deploy the so called "Camping Supplies" (The first green bag required to build other stuff). But the moment I try to place the red-workbench afterwards... the game suddenly crashes (The game always crash if you press action button to place the red-workbench, no matter conditions and place. I tried this thrice, the game crashes 100% chance no matter if you try to place the red-workbench when it turns green (able to build here) or red (not able to build here). I tried multiple locations, Concord area, Underground metro, Boston neighborhood, and the north-east coast... Location does not matter, the crash always happens.
I'm playing VR and can't seem to get a viable outpost. I can set up camp and the workbench, but I can't send settlers there nor does the recruitment beacon work. Everything else is fine. I am using Architect from Horizon mod. not sure if that might conflict.
In vr, I cant place the duffle bag on the ground to start my camp. Is there a special controller combination to do? I really don't understand why m action button (trigger) not work only in this circumstances. Any help would be appreciated.
This mod is wonderful, joy creating settlements in my chosen places.Thank you thank you thank you...Only this:Action: Cancel the construction camp is complicated.ENDORSED, of course.-
-Es maravilloso este mod, gozo creando asentamientos en mis lugares elegidos.Gracias, gracias, gracias...Solo esto:Acción: Cancelar el campamento de construcción es complicado.Respaldado, por supuesto.
This mod REALLY NEED to have a very quick way to cancel placement, as in a shortcut key or by activating something in one's own inventory, eg "Action: Cancel Build Campsite". Within 2 seconds of activating "Action: Build Campsite", strong enemies were spawn in a location with limited space and either it was impossible or was extremely difficult to cancel the placement without having to use multiple Stimpaks; luckily I thought of opening the console and turning godmode on, but it might very well have caused my character to die.
Greetings all. For anyone starting a new game, and pull up their Pip-Boy and do not see 'Action: Build Campsite', and do not have (under the Misc tap) ReadMe: Conquest, as I just had, there is a fix. For PC users (which, if you are on Nexus, you probably are playing this on PC).
A quick background, I have this mod enabled on 3 of my characters and it showed up first time, worked everytime. I just now started a brand new profile (Mod Organizer 2) with a new character for a Survival playthrough. I have not turned on Survival yet. The Action: Build Campsite didn't show up.
I tried the suggestion below of leaving the game, disabling the mod, reloading and entering an interior, saving and exiting the game (console command QQQ) then re-enabling the mod and walking out the interior. Didn't work. I tried it numerous times.
I finally found a fix on the Bugs section of this page. Here is what you do. It worked for me.
I was already in the game, starting in Good Neighbor (I've been using Start Me Up Redux for a year, and with all the previous characters this mod worked with. No issues).
From the Bugs page: I found that coc GoodneighborExt03 let the mod startup for me.
I typed coc GoodneighborExt03 and it took me from the middle of Good Neighbor (where I started a new game) and loaded me into an elevator. I eventually figured out that I needed to press the elevator button to make it move and then open the door. When it loaded me into the elevator I received 2 pop-ups stating the Action: Buikd Campsite, and Readme had been installed on my Pip-Boy.
So, for anyone else having issues, give that a try exactly as shown. Capitals and such:
If you still need to know, it's the former. Ten active at a time in a given save game - so your conquest workshops from Character A have no impact on the ones for Character B.
Unless I'm gravely mistaken in which case someone stop me before I strike again.
I made new workshop using your mod (Xbox SeriesX) at the "Federal Ration Stockpile" and called the new place "Dunn Outpost", Built some defence, beds and food went back to sanctuary for a few hrs built there then come back to "Dunn Outpost" to find there's no workshop so I can't build more stuff. Raiders are always attacking with 12+ enimes so I really need more defence but can't lol please fix. I see U haven't updated since 2016 so guessing it's abandoned? which is a shame as I like this mod.
Can't build the caravan trading post in conquest settlements, even though it's possible to do so in vanilla and other modded settlements. Any ideas why this might be the case?
Bro this mod hasn't been updated since 2016, I think u should just install SS2. Chapter 3 seems to have introduced a feature similar to this mod, but it's more modern so it'll probably more well integrated into the game than this mod

Again, this worked for me.
Cheers and Excellence to you all.
