    As I expected official (beta) patch 1.7 has messed up the icons again.
    I'm afraid I won't be downloading the beta though, so hopefully someone else can fix it first

    I may even hold off from updating to 1.7 altogether, as unfortunately it's also looking like 1.7 will f-up DEF_UI too, fingers crossed Neanka will do an update

    Sekoms has done it again
    I've uploaded Fallout 4 1.7.9 compatible files provided by Sekoms in a new installer package.

    In case anyone is wondering, the map I use (the one in my screenshots) is the "Immersive Map 4k - SATELLITE" file from Reptileye's excellent Immersive maps 2K - 4K mod, and not Satellite World Map (as I didn't like the fact that SWM requires an esp).

    Apparently Immersive maps 2K - 4K was deleted at some point...

    Thanks to CyaNide1986 I got some brief instructions (translated from French — again thanks to CyaNide1986) from Zenotep herself on how to alter the colour of the map icons

    So, I've uploaded a new version: map markers are now blue, the player arrow is yellow-orange and the quest, custom destination and power armour icons are all green. I'm not sure yet about the choice of colours, so feedback would be appreciated, but please bear in mind changing the colours is incredibly tedious and surprisingly time-consuming!

    Thanks to sekoms we now have versions for Fallout 4 v1.6 v1.7 with all white or multi-coloured icons.

    If you like, why not give it a go yourselves I've put together a series of screenshots showing the steps using JPEXS Free Flash Decompiler and I've uploaded it as a tutorial: How to Change Map Icon Colors

      I'm getting the same error everyone else has been reporting. A red box that simply says "an error occurred"

      Happens when I try to download ANY file from THIS MOD PAGE ONLY, whether I choose NMM or Manual. Happens in both Firefox and Chrome.

      Maybe you could upload the installer version to a sharing website such as Zippyshare or Dropbox? Or you may just need to simply reupload to this page.

      My guess is the file somehow got corrupted on the Nexus server.

      This just in: The same error box appears when I try to edit my previous comment.

      Something is seriously wrong with this page. I'm going to try any other files you've uploaded and see what happens.

      Please direct your issues to The Nexus Support team.
      The Nexus site is hosting the mods that are uploaded.

      If you get an error trying to download a mod from this site ( NMM or manually ) than it's an issue with the site.
      If you get an error trying to edit your post on this site than it's an issue with the site.

      If you get an error in NMM saying error/corrupted file it could be the mod or your antivirus acting up.

      This is NOT an "internet/NMM issue" as previously assumed it is exclusive to this mod/mod page. I've downloaded roughly 10 mods in the last 2hrs just fine. The error message is a popup instead of the normal popup when choosing to download manually (as I did). Even when clicking the edit option on this post I received the same error popup. Closing Chrome, then opening it again seemed to fix it. When I came back to edit this post to advise of a solution, the edit button worked again as well. Prior to closing Chrome, I tested the issue by downloading another mod via the manual option and it worked fine. Nexus seems to just not like this mod

      A screen grab or at least the exact wording of the error would be helpful.

      I don't see how it can be a problem with this mod/page either, as 7728 people seem to have downloaded the latest version just fine, as opposed to 4 reports of an error

      I'm assuming it installed OK after you downloaded it manually?

      People : it has NOTHING to do with this mod in particular.
      It's an internet browser + OS + Nexus issue.

      Try this :
      There is an option in NMM for Chrome users.
      Some sort of fix concerning the combination of NMM with Chrome.

      I don't say that it will fix these issues, but one can at least have a go at it, right?

      btw: I use Chrome, WIN7 ultimate and I have never had any sort of issue with The Nexus Site or NMM.
      So I think it's some sort of combination of factors.

      ( also : AWKCR also had problems like this: advise there is to fix it with the internet browser. Please read the first Q in their sticky )

      Oh, and try to find answers over at the guys from The Nexus Site, because really: THEY host the mods on this site, any problems with downloading or site issue are supposed to end up there, right ?

    Heya Old Nick,I recently acquired all the dlc's , and went to look at my map for the first time in far harbour, and was back to vanilla look , I just assumed they were included I guess , but aren't as yet ...
    So if you ever get time, will you be expanding this to include all dlc area's ??

      How do you mean back to vanilla? Far Harbor uses the same swf file that contains the map icons and zoom settings as the main game so it should work fine, are you sure you're not thinking of the actual map background texture? Because that would be from a different mod

    This used to work great. Now when I open my map it's always zoomed SUPER far out, like the map itself take up only 2/3 of the top right screen, I then have to zoom in super far. It's the only mod I have installed on a fresh install that has anything to do with maps. I do love this, so I'll watch it for future updates, but it's currently pretty broken for me.

      My pipboy and PAmap are white ( and I left my PA Hud green ) with these settings :

      In Fallout4Prefs.ini
      ----------------------------------------------------------
      [Pipboy]
      fPipboyEffectColorB=0.7875
      fPipboyEffectColorG=0.7875
      fPipboyEffectColorR=0.7875
      bPipboyDisableFX=1

      [VATS]
      fModMenuEffectHighlightColorB=0.7873
      fModMenuEffectHighlightColorG=0.7912
      fModMenuEffectHighlightColorR=0.7873
      fModMenuEffectColorB=0.7873
      fModMenuEffectColorG=0.7912
      fModMenuEffectColorR=0.7873
      -----------------------------------------------------------
      This line : "bPipboyDisableFX=1 " makes the object in your pipboy ( guns etc. ) viewable in color ( instead of white )

      Hope it helps

      Then you need to download a satellite map mod
      I've linked the one I use up there in my sticky post, but there are alternatives...

    Hello, I have been using this map mod for my first and current 2nd playthru, and just love it, but regardless of what the map looks like in any form there's still that annoyance of having to stand there and scroll for 5-10 minuted looking for a place on the map, I just never remember where or which side of the mp its on, ..
    So I was wondering if you have plans to possibly make a drop down menu tab with a list of map places for quest and things , where you could click on the menu tab and your map would shoot over to that place with a like flashing icon to show you ?? ..

      That would be pretty cool, but it's well beyond my abilities...
      You'll just have to keep on scrolling I'm afraid

      That's not quite what I meant, What I was asking was if instead of standing around scrolling regardless of whether a quest is active or not or you just want to go to a place before the quest is active or perhaps I'm just running around collecting books , and dont want want to stand there for 5-10 minutes scrolling to find a place , that whether the author could add a drop down tab, but they have replied anyway , so thats fine ... { i know about the R )

    I installed SWM and everything seemed fine. After install of this the map markers are way off. The markers trail to the far right where a lot of buildings are in the water. Did I miss a step?

      I have starting to experience the same problem recently. I don't think it is this zoom mod that is the problem, if I remove the Satellite World map 8K version, the problem is gone.

      Edit: Made it work by putting the SatelliteWorldMap.esp at the end of my load order.

    Hi, thank you for the mod! Instant endorse
    One question, the default zoom is a bit too 'zoomed-out', is there a way to alter this? preferably without editing the swf which I have 0 clues how to even open.
    I was hoping for an ini setting but I failed at googling this, all I find is people with right-clicking issues and FOV issues, which is not what I bring up, rather the zoom shown only in the pipboy screen itself by default as I press M, and I believe the icons are perfect size, its just that most times I tend to zoom in from the default zoom as I open it quite frequently.
    As I see some people had similar questions and also looking for the opposite (zoomed-out even more by default), I guess this would be something interesting to know, and if the default zoom could be easily altered it would be nice to adjust (as one probably would, back and forth, throughout the priorities of one's gameplay)

    Thanks!

    Edit: found on page 4 a reference to JPEXS and a step by step. Editing the SWF is the way I guess, gonna give it a try
