Have updated both the main file (v1.04) and the full set .esp.
The chestplate, bos top and jacket textures have all been updated. The chest has been re-modelled slightly (chinguard is now less round). The gloves have also been updated, they are now a darker brown suede rather than leather. I'll add a texture replacer for these to a lighter tan suede.
New stats are:
+1 Agi +1 Per +1 Str +7 Energy Res +25 Fire Res +20 Dam Res
Hopefully the new file/s are good to go. Let me know if you have any issues and I'll fix asap.
The full .esp version should have the same stats and updates but also an update to the helm.
They include:
+7 Energy Res, +25 Rad Res, +17 Dam Res, +2 Cha, +1 Per. The textures for the glass should be a little better, a bit harder to see through but still clear. Can just make out the characters eyes under bright lights. Also the playing card has been updated.
I think that's it!? :)
N.B. - Also working on another texture replacer for the jacket, it will be a rusty coloured rough suede, still wip. (update - um, er - still afk from modding)
Is it possible that you could edit the first person view to work with a hand help pipboy mod like the pip-boy 2000? The place where a forearm should be is just a hollow spot, nothing there, id appreciate it thanks :) love the mod
Hi there, sorry for the late reply. If you'd have pm'd me I would have said yes earlier, go ahead though if you are still modding, all good with me and best of luck with your mod.
I really like the style and aesthetics of a ranger short coat. Being a fan of NV, is it possible to add a brownish camo-scheme (reminds me of the WWII Marine beach camo) to the chest plate, a tan/khaki color to the pants, and maybe green visors? Other than that, this a real bad-ass looking mod.
Forgive me as I'm a bit rusty with modding. Erm, just your head and hands should be visible. Anything else should be hidden by the armour. Sorry if I've misunderstood!!
Hey, I've got an issue to report this time 'round. You may be familiar with the new Pip-Pad mod that came out and everyone is gushing over, including me, and you may also be familiar with how removing the wrist-mounted pip-boy can cause some outfits to look a little strange. This outfit does that, but only in first person. I notice a huge gap in the forearm where the Pip-Boy usually is. Could I trouble you for a fix? I haven't checked Plunkett's duster yet but I'll edit this when I get around to crafting it and putting it on.
Sorry I'm late getting back to you, bit full on here at the moment.
No didn't know about the sleeve or the mod tbh (afk 99% of the time!) I think most of my outfits, the sleeves were from vanilla meshes and pretty much un-edited. I can't remember off-hand exactly, if you look at the vanilla blue winter jacket, that would look the same as this mod I'm guessing.
One way round it on PC for a fairly quick fix would be to use a different mesh for the first person views, something that doesn't have that huge gaping hole in the mesh (where the pip-boy sits). "MDesertRangerCombat_1stPerson_wkz" is the male version on this mod. Rename your replacement mesh to that and drop it in the mod folder and that would work, may need a bit of messing around with the .dds textures too.
I'll keep a note of it for when I do get some free time but that could be way, way off while I concentrate with work.
I've been a fan of this armor for a while, you may or may not remember me from the Bethesda.net comment section on this mod. I try not to make requests of modders if I can make the change myself, but I've already given it a go and I am no good at working with textures yet. (Might be easier if I had Photoshop but I've only got Paint.NET atm) Would you possibly consider replacing the "Sorry..." with a drawn-on Vault-Tec logo? Or, perhaps, adding it to the side somewhere on the dome. Still in the simple " Drawn on with a sharpie " look, you know. This one would really be a personal request and not something that really adds to the mod, so I understand if not, but I figure it's always worth asking. Thanks.
I'd download 'Gimp', it's free, has great plug-ins and a bit of messing around you'll soon get the hang of it. I started with Photoshop then moved onto Gimp (some would say a backwards step but it does what it says on the tin).
I hand drew the 'Sorry' with a fat marker pen then scanned it in and added it via Gimp.
Hi there, not at the moment sadly, busy away from modding. Ideally I'd have finished one of my other sets which would have been a brown suede short jacket, chestplate, bandana, jeans and some funky boots. Maybe I'll get time in the future along with my other work in progress mods and updates.
I think jeans would look cool with this mod although I like the leather jeans and the way the leg armour fits.
Probably a bit if an odd suggestion/request, but is there any chance of a version with unarmoured legs so we could wear various leg armours? Think this would look really awesome with leather armour legs.
I always wear the lightest leather leg armour myself with this armour. Had a quick look earlier and the wrapped leg armour from one of the Nuka Raider gangs in Nuka World looks pretty sweet with the road leathers legs.

Sorry, I'm not modding at the moment, no near future plans to get back to it yet. Glad you're enjoying the mod.
Have fun
It's genuinely a great experience using this with some homemade like weapons, add that "scavver" feeling.
I still hope to get to some updates sooner or later, I'll keep it in mind when I do, no eta on that just now. Enjoy - w

All the best with it

Best of luck with texturing!!

The legs are a version of the Road Leathers.
