NOTICE 14/11/2023: this mod was created before creation club came out and has not been updated to cover items introduced in those creations. items added by other mods are also not covered by this mod. this mod does not contain any scripts at all, it simply an item form edit that allows slots to be used. I won't be updating this mod ever so feel free to take it and do what you want with it.
Kinda sucks how all these mods seem to be getting deleted. The one I've been using for the last few years got deleted recently for no reason. They are old, but they still work. This one sadly has a few other bugs that the others didn't though.
It does work guys as of today, obvious clipping but I use it with Hidden Armour mod. Has all the CC paints intact, and adds Vaultsuit linings to be applied to the outfits. But this does make the game thing they are actual Vaultsuits, as in the case of America Rising 2, where it adds the option of the Military colour. But I can live with that. Regarding Ballistic Weave I'll have to get back to you on that one, as I'm in no rush to join the Railroad!
i've downloaded today and didnt work. i remember when it first came out worked fine, everytime i try to load today the outfit gets off when i put the armor pieces
Jed can you share how you managed to work? Tried installing the armorsmith extended etc and didnt work. I only have automatron and far habor dlc, it could be that?
@gab Sorry for late response. I just downloaded them (Legendary version from this, plus Hidden Armor) and they worked, and still are today. I do have all the DLC's installed, so yes as in a lot of cases with mods you need them all. And I suspect that will be the issue as it covers ALL clothing. I don't use Armorsmith Extended either.
this mod works, it does have it's bugs though, like how all dimond city guards only wear their armor without the clothing for some reason, every other NPC in the game including yourself can wear armor on top of their clothing no problem though, it might be a scripting issue.
I wish this would work today, the other mods you always have to go to the armor bench to install the hidden option. i wish it would be automatic like this one
I'm not sure that this still works. There are a lot of people saying that it doesn't affect in-game behaviour at all. I've installed it, checked that its in the correct place in my load order, and it doesn't work. All my armour comes off the second I equip an outfit. It looks like a lot of people have the same issue.
the mod works for me, and i just installed this with a fresh install of the game about a month ago, however there is one issue with the guards in Dimond city, they all equip their armor, but not the clothing, so you see them walking around all confident and s#*! wearing their tighty whities lol.
but all other NPC's and followers and yourself can use the clothing and armor at the same time without issue.
That is not what the word "redundant" means bro. If it was made redundant it would no longer be needed, it is still, very much needed as it is not a vanilla game feature.
Would be better if the armor placed over clothing would use the "expanded" model, like that which appears over Road Leathers. As it is, just about every clothing and armor clip through each other. Which makes this kind of useless.
yeah sure, but if you also use the armor smith mod, you have the ability to make the armor invisible, it still exists, but it can be adjusted in your crafting menu.
So, as a Christian, something sexual looking is a no no, but being able to pop someone's head like a grape with a bullet is okay? Sex bad, violence good? Not meaning to come off sounding like an ass, I'm just generally curious how that could be justified.
@raykawamura Im super late but I was reading the comments and had to respond. Yeah. Fictional violence is not as bad as sexualized models. You're not actually killing anyone while playing, but modding your game to be "sexier" (It's not even sexy, just cringe - hard to believe anyone is actually turned on by this s#*!, so out of place and often gross) and then lusting over characters is very real. Think of seeing g0re footage because you're curious about what happened (morbid curiousity, do I need to explain? as long as you're not weird about it) vs watching p0rn.
I haven't tried this yet but I'd expect a significant amount of clipping but I'm wondering if somehow the Naton566 found a way around that problem. Anyone who has used this happen to know?

Thanks!
No idea why it was deleted though, it did everything great and allowed to apply ballistic weave to any clothing.

Does your mod have exceptions?
