    Sticky
I'm no longer modding this game - nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077 is my new best friend, sorry.

If you want to add the heel sounds to a different mod without using the rings its pretty easy.

Using FO4Edit load the ESP of the armour your adding the sound to and make sure you load the sound ESP as well.

Right Click the name of your ESP on the lefthand side, choose Add Master (for this to work the HHFootSteps.ESP needs to be higher in your load order).

Open up HHFootSteps.ESP and find the footsteps set submenu, open that up and click on either Sound or Clicky depending which you want. Find the form ID line and double click where the "highheelssound" text is and copy the text in the window that pops up to your clipboard.

Open up Armour Addon and find the armour you want to add sound too and look for a section SNDD - by default it will show "Default Footstep Set", right click and choose edit, then paste the text you copied to the clipboard from the previous step, so it will say something like _modjc_HighHeelsSoundClicky [FSTS:0100455E]

Close with X in corner, make sure to take save, recommended to tick backup.

    Profit.

(You could add the sounds using the CK (crashing kit) in skyrim as well, so you probably can in FO4 too).

Guess what you can't have at the same time? -  "Photo Light" and "High Heels Sound - Fallout 4 Edition"!

Why do I care?? - Because "Photo Light" is better than "Face light"!

Why? - It lights your face better because of the different strengths available and it can be used on your companions to light them up all the time, not just during conversation like Face light.

How does "Photo Light" work? - It is applied as apparel!  What slot does it use? - "Ring"! So if you equip "Photo Light", it unequips the ring for "High Heels Sounds"!

So thank you very much "FireOogle"!  With this tutorial I can have my "Photo Light" AND "High Heels Sounds"!!!  Kudos to you!

BTW, to "Find the form ID line", Click the "+" to the left of "Record Header' and "form ID" is there.)

BTW2:  Vortex users:  After you have finished and exited "FO4Edit", you MUST do this:

in "Mods" section, click on the "Deploy Mods" button and when the popup comes up saying that your armor .esp file has changed, make sure that "Use Newer File" is in the box to the right and click "Confirm" below.

It was a simple esp mod. Doesn't require any additional work. Put the files inside Data, and enable the mod - done. If you ever installed any bethgame mod, you should have no issues installing this one.

idk if you ever figured this out but you do know that you have to equip the rings to get the sound right? the sound wont work until you equip the rings that this mod gives you.

Hello . First, thanks for your awesome mod :)

But, when I use your mod with Better female Walk by TyperTM, the sound stops working after 2 or 3 steps with unarmed walking animation. I need to change the direction to get the sound to work again, but only for 2 or 3 steps.

Is there a way to lower the volume?  I mean in comparison to all of the other SFX in the game.  My character is running and it is ALL I hear.

If you open the esp in xEdit and change the "Static Attenuation" on every sound descriptor entry to something between 3-6, it will lower the decibels by 3-6 db. Or, open the actual sound files and edit those to lower the volume.
