This is an awesome mod!! But I have one request, I use the Nat companion with power armor mod. Is there any way to get a patch to change her voice for that? Or could you let me know what programs I need to do it?
2.0 Manual Download all relevant Higher voice files 2.1 For Example Higher Female Protagonist Voice - Type D1 Higher Female Protagonist Voice - Type D1 - DLC1-Automatron Higher Female Protagonist Voice - Type D1 - DLC3-FarHarbor (loose files) Higher Female Protagonist Voice - Type D1 - DLC6-NukaWorld (loose files) Higher Voice For Piper - Type A5 Higher Female Children Voice Higher Voice For Cait - Type A5 Higher Voice For Curie - Type A3-R Higher Voice For Curie - Type A5-S OR 2.2 For Example Higher Female Protagonist Voice - Type U2 Higher Female Protagonist Voice - Type U2 - DLC1-Automatron Higher Female Protagonist Voice - Type U2 - DLC3-FarHarbor (loose files) Higher Female Protagonist Voice - Type U2 - DLC6-NukaWorld (loose files) Higher Voice For Piper - Type U2 Higher Female Children Voice Higher Voice For Cait - Type A6 Higher Voice For Curie - Type A3
3.0 Name a folder "Higher Female Voices Meta" (or just name each individual folder after the individual mod if you want to keep them separate.) Open the downloaded flies with 7zip and: 3.1 extract the .bsa files to your folder named "Higher Female Voices Meta" AND\OR 3.2 extract the "sound" files to your folder named "Higher Female Voices" (The "sound" flies will not overwrite each other but rather add to each other) 4.0 open each bsa file BAE and then extract them too "Higher Female Voices Meta". (Should be the default location if you followed step 3.1 above) (The flies will not overwrite each other but rather add to each other) 5.0 delete the .bsa files from "Higher Female Voices Meta" 6.0 On the "Higher Female Voices Meta" file: 'Right click'> Send to > Compressed (zipped) Folder 7.0 wait for the zip file to be compressed/created 8.0 In MO2; use the Install Mod button and select zip file "Higher Female Voices Meta.zip"
Nvm found how to do it, if you want to have multiple of these voice mods, you type the line sResourceArchiveList=Fallout4 - Voices.ba2, Fallout4 - Meshes.ba2, Fallout4 - MeshesExtra.ba2, Fallout4 - Misc.ba2, Fallout4 - Sounds.ba2, Fallout4 - Materials.ba2, Higher Female Protagonist Voice - Type D1.bsa
then after that you keep adding on which would look something like this sResourceArchiveList=Fallout4 - Voices.ba2, Fallout4 - Meshes.ba2, Fallout4 - MeshesExtra.ba2, Fallout4 - Misc.ba2, Fallout4 - Sounds.ba2, Fallout4 - Materials.ba2, Higher Female Protagonist Voice - Type D1.bsa, Higher Female Children Voice.bsa
ps, this modder doesnt help out at all took awhile for me to experiment with this, originally i did it through the bae, but i thought there was an easier way. Would have been nice if the modding community would actually answer questions, but no they are useless when needed
Dude calm down. The man needed help, so he asked for it, there's nothing wrong with that. The fact that he fixed his issue himself doesn't matter, because he saved others like myself from asking the exact same questions.
I tried what you said by putting the bsa name in a list I have installed into Fallout4.ini. for some reason this isn't working for me. Can you explain to me exactly what you did?
installed via nexus mod manager, didn't get the updated voice. opened my falloutcustom.ini and copy-pasted the lines, didn't get the updated voice.
as it stands i'm just assuming the Orphans of the Commonwealth, Immersive Killable Children or Raider Children mods are breaking it. a shame because i would love this mod.
Never planned (except English and Japanese). Voice mods like these are a lot of effort for sometimes no appreciation. When such effort falls into that category, it really only makes sense to create what I personally intend to use.
i have the higher female voice active right now, can i also have this one too or multiple ones.. im just confused since the line is the same for each ne you use and i dont know if each of the voice changing mods will conflict or i would like most of them.
