If you want the text to display as "Nuka Cola Victory" instead of quantum then you can edit Fallout4_en.strings and do a replace all command with notepad++

I had this feature in the mod originally but it would cause CTDs often so proceed at your own risk.

Also the label was a rush job as it was 3am and i will improve it in the morning

I've gone and turned this into a standalone mod that adds Nuka-Cola Victory alongside Nuka-Cola Quantum. A quick NIF duplication and edit, and some tweaking of BGSM and BGEM files, plus some new records in an ESP. Happy to share if anyone's interested!

EDIT: Can't seem to figure out how to change the color of the light emitted from the item when it's dropped in the world without also changing the Quantum light color. Hmmm...
It has nothing to do with emissive color in the BGSM unfortunately. Emissive color doesn't actually make light.

For object opacity you could mess about with the alpha values, i can't remember the exact value name however have a look at the glowing blood bgsm file it's near the bottom of that i think.

Hmm, can't you replace the Nuka Cola Cherry with this one? Or is it because you had to overwrite some glow maps that the Quantum used...?

With a working NifSkope released, I'm sure you can repoint the material to a new glow file! :]

This was just to prove that glow maps could be changed.

This isn't real mod, just a proof of concept.

because of this i made all of my glowing mods.

I know, I just wanted the Nuka Cola Cherries to glow! :]

Would you have any problems if I made a mod for that using your files? I'd give cred, of course.

      I would actually encourage it,

      Go for it.

I wish you would have just not uploaded it as it is, and instead waited until you made a proper standalone version.

    Nonetheless, it looks nice.

As far as I know, it's still impossible to actually ADD new things into the game at the moment.

But besides that, can you tell me what program you used to edit .bgsm files? I have never heard of this format before - what's it used for? cubemaps? Speculars? Glow maps? What?

Nice job by the way - I really don't like the new mesh design on these bottles though (the "rocket ship" look just makes me feel like I'm drinking those Radioactive Isotopes in the Rocketship containers from FNV lol). I know mesh edits around possible yet, though... >_<

bgsm and bgems are the material files, i edited these to make the orange glow, a surprising amount of work for something so small, if anyone wants to use my files as a base then go ahead, just credit me.

I used gibbed's tools to extract the bgsm files into json then edited the values in visual basic, the colour values were in hex which was surprising.

      Need anymore info just ask.

Oh, so that's how you edit them. Thank you, that helps A LOT!

I'm also unsurprised that the color values were in Hex, Bethesda (much like their engine) is a m*therf*cking dinosaur at this point who just refuses to get with the times...

      What's wrong with that?
Internally, in the binary format, the colors are stored as three floats (R, G, B).
In the JSON format they are stored as three bytes in typical hex form (#rrggbb).

Thanks for this. It didn't make any sense for there to be a massive number of Quantums anywhere outside of DC.
