Restored Empty Milk Bottles deleted from The Third Rail and marked them as "Initially Disabled" instead.
That's right, you cow wranglin', milk drinkin', sons of guns. Put on your udder-tugging gloves because it's time for MILK THAT BRAMHIN! Featuring a new milking mechanic, additional brahmin spawns, leveled list integration, and of course, milk, Milk That Brahmin! is literally the best milk overhaul mod that's been made for anything ever.
MILKABLE BRAHMIN Finally, you can live out your fantasy of being a dairy farmer. To milk a brahmin simply walk up to one, crouch, and press your "Reload" key. Keep in mind that milking a brahmin only works if you have have an Empty Milk Bottle in your inventory and are currently not in combat.
DRINKABLE MILK There really wouldn't be much point in milking a brahmin if you didn't get anything out of it, right? Successfully milking a brahmin will give you a bottle of Unpasteurized Milk. Compared to Pasteurized Milk, Unpasteurized Milk heals no health, heals less radiation, and has a high chance of giving you a disease (if you're playing in Survival Mode). Unpasteurized Milk can be pasteurized at any cooking station.
ADDITIONAL BRAHMIN SPAWNS Let's face it. The vanilla game has like... four brahmin. And that's terrible.Milk That Brahmin! fixes that by adding seven new brahmin herds to the world, found primarily in the northern half of the map where there's more grass and less depressing marshlands. Now you'll always have a brahmin to milk nearby!
LEVELED LIST INTEGRATION You won't only find milk in the udder of a fine brahmin. Now you'll find it throughout the world too! In addition to leveled list integration, you can also find bottles of delicious milk physically placed throughout the many interiors in the vanilla game.
Milk That Brahmin! requires only the base game (ideally updated to the latest version). No other downloadable content or mods are required.
MANUAL INSTALLATION 1. Download the mod (or don't, I'm not your dad). 2. Extract the .zip to your Fallout 4 directory (the folder containing your Data folder, but not the Data folder itself!) 3. Update your plugins.txt file with MilkThatBrahmin.esp. 4. Milk a brahmin. 5. Complain on the mod page about the fail-to-success ratio for milking.
NEXUS MOD MANAGER INSTALLATION 1. Select the "Download With Manager" button instead of the "Download Manually" button. 2. Boom. Done.
TESTUDINI Main (aka sole) developer. Resident milk expert.
JOHN THE INTERN Internal test hamster. Used for testing and experimenting the bacteria in the unpasteurized milk. Rest in peace.
JOKERINE The method used for milking brahmin in this mod is almost 100% similar to the method used in my previous mod, Milkman (Exhibit A). Though she didn't contribute directly to this mod, she helped me develop the mechanic previously, so kudos to her!
Believe it or not, I've made (or worked on) some other mods as well! Check them out by clicking their respective logos below.
